The story revolves around Thaddeus and Lynette Falchester as they head into the heart of the Kuhrisch wilderness to hunt down some old enemies. The Brothers Whitworth, who years ago stole from them priceless heirlooms, have broken into the dead city of Altmortis. Rumour has it that the ruins are home to countless treasure from the ancient Kuhrland, but when Thaddeus and Lynette delve into the dead city they find more than plunder awaiting them in the darkness...
