D.G. | 1370 comments I'll reserve this for my picks...I'm not sure I'll post all of them tonight but I'll definitely finish by tomorrow.

Carrie
Theme book: Angelfall by Susan Ee - picked this one first for Donna and saw you have it in your TBR too! I loved this book so I'm recommending it again!
The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch - loved this one too...the audio is great if you are into audio. :)

Donna
Theme book: Angelfall by Susan Ee - loved, loved, loved this book. I'm awaiting the sequel like crazy.
Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence - have this on my TBR...want to know how you like it!
Linked by Imogen Howson - never heard anything about this book but the cover looked interesting.

Lyn M
Theme book: The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern - I have this on my TBR and have been meaning to read it...tell me how you like it!
Dissolution by C.J. Sansom - I love this series...need to get back to it.

All of these picks look so great. I am going to have a hard time deciding.

D.G. | 1370 comments Funny Carrie - I almost recommended you "The Name of the Wind" but didn't want to recommend Epic Fantasy for both your picks.

message 9: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 1370 comments Ladies - My picks look great...I think I'll end up reading more than one!!

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) | 2895 comments Mod
I was thinking the same thing, D.G.

message 11: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) | 69 comments I wonder if Donna saw that we have a team/group post made.

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) | 2895 comments Mod
I was wondering the same thing, Carrie. I was going to give her one more day, then send her a PM and let her know.

message 13: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 1370 comments Most likely I'll read both Easy and Grave Mercy but I'm not sure that I can start right away. I owe them both on audio and I have to listen to at least a couple of audiobooks this month. I'll try to fit in at least one though!

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) | 2895 comments Mod
I strongly recommend Grave Mercy, it is one of my faves.

message 15: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 1370 comments I just got the audio so it's very timely. :)

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) | 2895 comments Mod
I just got the second book in the series Dark Triumph and am trying to work it into my busy schedule.

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) | 2895 comments Mod
BTW - I just sent Donna a PM to let her know that we are a team and directed her to this thread to give us our choices.

message 18: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 1370 comments Oh wow! That's out already!!

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) | 2895 comments Mod
Yep, it came out last month.

message 20: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) | 69 comments I have no idea what I want to read of those, ha ha.

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) | 2895 comments Mod
My problem is that I want to read them all.

message 22: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) | 69 comments Did you hear from Donna after?

message 23: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 1370 comments I hope Donna is fine!

Grave Mercy is on next month's shelf (death) so I'll wait until next month to read it. I'll probably start Easy this month though. :)

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) | 2895 comments Mod
Sorry, I was gone for a few days and have been trying to catch up. Donna never did contact me, and I see that is the only comment she has made in the group. I say we go on without her. There are two things we can do...

1. We can pick from the group of books we already have

2. We can each nominate another book for each other

I am good with going with the list as it is. There is plenty there for me.

What do you all think?

message 25: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 1370 comments I'm fine with my choices as well. I'm already planning to read two instead of one!

So unless Carrie wants two more choices, I'm fine as is.

message 26: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) | 69 comments I'm fine picking from what we have. :)

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) | 2895 comments Mod
Ok, lets pick and get reading, lol.

I really want to read all of the books you guys picked for me.....but I think I am going to start with The Last Song since it has been on my TBR the longest. If I can get it read this month, I may try to read one of the others next month.

I'll let you know how it goes.

message 28: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 1370 comments OMG! I'm reading Easy and I'm loving it!!

message 29: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) | 69 comments :D Glad to hear!!

message 30: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 1370 comments I finished Easy and completely loved it! It brought me back memories of my own romance as I met my husband in a Macro class. ;)
