By the looks of it (from my end) You're attributed to the book you wrote, whereas The Physical Properties is attributed to another author by the same name

#14 - You do not have an Author Profile at the moment, just a user.

If you let us know all of the books on that Author Profile, which your book attached to, are yours we can move them to a new Profile, so that you can claim it.

The single space profile I could tell looked like it would not have been yours, but was not sure about the double. If the first profile below contains any of your books, let us know. If the 2nd profile below contains more than just your books let us know and we will split them.

Hi, I have several books attributed to me that were written by my grandfather and great-grandfather. Can someone remove them? My books are:

Sorry Abhijit, I don't know what to do at this point - there is honestly only the one work showing up under your name on my screen. If you honestly don't think this is a caching error, you'd be better off asking a more senior librarian than me.

Can you provide the link where you're seeing both the books, Abhijit?

If you are looking at your dashboard, it may very well be that it takes longer to update. If you still see the other book, you will have to contact Support, because librarians can't help you with this.

Question for future reference: How long does it usually take for caching errors on authors pages to resolve? I've read a few examples here on the group, and noticed they can take quite awhile. What's a normal sort of time?

Up to 48hrs is normal for some pages. I thought in this case it might have taken longer because that day merging also took a lot longer than usual (at least 12hrs instead of a few minutes).

anyways those were moved to James A. Newman as they are part of series which are listed on his account (or his profile shows up on amazon search):

for this book: Tales from Christmas Wood i used James Newman Gray as amazon suggested,
this one: Measures of the Five Factor Model and Psychological Type: A Major Convergence of Research and Theory belongs to James B. Newman

this one Mathematics and the Imagination went to: James R. Newman

this:
- A Cognitive Perspective on Jungian Typology

was also by "James R. Newman" according to worldcat, but i think it's different James that the one who write Mathematics and the imagination he was mathematician and i didn't find any indication he would also write psychological books so i decided to create new profile for this books

but that was the easiest part...
now to the others...

the rest of the books was quite hard to recognize so i decided to create separate author profile for them and move them there - i think its better than adding them to a random James Newman who already has some book listed:

Figures to acompany the recorded presentation of Cognition and Consciousness: A Jungian Perspective on Mind and Brain (this one is weird, even worldcat dont have in their database?)

Thank you! This one is trickier:

I have 14 ratings and 5 reviews. The book you removed had 1 review and 4 ratings. While the other author's book was on my page, her stats collapsed into mine, for a total of 18 ratings and 6 reviews. (Ironically, it was the first thing I noticed, even before I saw the thumbnail for her book.)

It appears the other author's ratings and reviews still show in my author stats, and the "combination" of the stats remains, even though the book has been removed. Is there any way to return my stats to just those for my book?

That is a caching issue and should correct itself in 24-28 hours.
