This Friday, tell us what book you will be reading next.

I think my next book is going to be The Little Sister by Raymond Chandler. It's the fifth novel in the Philip Marlowe series.

What about you? What will be your next book?

After the couple I am reading now I am going to read Dark Places By Gillian Flynn. :)

I have heard such good things about Gillian Flynn. Is that one after or before Gone Girl?

It is before Gone Girl, which was good, and she has one before both those called Sharp Objects so I am going out of order of when they were published!

I am going to go for Gone Girl next.

Although, Lamb looks good too (I am a Christopher Moore fan).

I haven't read a Christopher Moore book but have wanted to, so I'm going to add Flynn and Moore to my to-read list.

My next book will be No Safety in Numbers.

I'm currently reading A New Aristotle Reader; the book after that from my massive (but shrinking) pile-of-books-to-read/finish-in-chronological-order-of-when-I-received-them will be The Scarlet Letter and Other Writings.

right now i am reading 2 huge books so it will be a while before i start a new book. But when i do it will probably be the second book in the vampire academy series. i cant think of the name off the top of my head.

Currently reading this. I'm on a F. Scott Fitzgerald kick right now...

Ah, The Scarlet Letter. Is it your first time reading it?

The next book I will be reading is called More Like Her by Liza Palmer.

Oh, nonono. I've read The Scarlet Letter many times; what I haven't read is about half of the critical essays that are with it in this version (It's a Norton Critical Edition, so you know I have a lot of reading ahead of me.).
