Alyssa | 6 comments I'm an avid reader available for to beta read new books. I AM NOT A WRITER. Some people believe that you need to write to be able to beta read but I honestly do not believe so. I truly enjoy sharing my ideas on books that I read and I cannot stand punctuation, spelling, or grammatical errors so I will notice them. I am a very honest person so if I find something that's "bad" I will tell you, if you cannot take constructive criticism I am not the beta for you. I like YA books, romance, thrillers, sci-fi, ok so I just like books in general. I'm willing to test out any genre and if I find myself uninterested in the genre sent to me I will let you know relatively quickly. Please feel free to message me on here if you are interested in using me as a beta.

Thanks!

Alyssa

Megan (mamamegan) | 16 comments I have a parenting memoir/advice book I am looking for readers on. It's sort of blog-style comedy with some been-there-done-that advice as well as stories from other moms sprinkled in. Would you be interested in this sort of book? Mostly about pregnancy, childbirth, and infancy

Karen Dodd (karendoddauthor) | 2 comments Hi Megan, your book sounds fun but I don't think I would be the best reader for you and I'm already committed to a couple other writers in my genre. However, feel free to Check back later if you still need someone:)

Hi Alyssa,

Would you like to read my women fiction novel titled Resolve? I hate punctuation and grammatical errors too, so hopefully there shouldn't be many of those, and three friends have read it and enjoyed it, each helping me to work on my editing, but I love constructive criticism, so if you'd like to help me further on tweaking my work, I would love to hear from you.

Here is the link to the first chapter that I posted on Goodreads:
http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/3...

I hope it will make you want to read more!I have some changes to make before I can send it, but it should be ready in about 2 weeks, do pm me if you are interested!

Shelby Morrison (shelbykmorrison) | 30 comments Hi Alyssa!

I'm actively seeking beta readers for my thriller/mystery. I've posted the rough blurb below so you can determine if it's something you'd be interested in reading. I have a list of things to look for to make it easy. I want reader or writer eyes, not editor (I will hire one of those). So I want you to read and enjoy the book then just answer honestly some questions. I'd love to hear from you! You would get a free ebook of the published version as thanks. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Blurb: Fireball college student Alex Bowen has a pretty full life: friends, a loving father, and an accomplished academic and recreational career. But when a sudden act of vigilante justice brings unexpected praise, Alex finds that her own strength isn't enough to move on from her guilt. Certain something is wrong, Alex unknowingly stumbles upon a secret. She is being watched.

Determined to uncover who's been spying on her, Alex gets more than she bargained for when she finds herself far from home and at the mercy of her watchers. With those she trusts no where to be found, she is forced to make allies wherever she can find them. Alex soon learns that the life she knows isn't all that it seems, yet the truth might be too much to bear. With her life and her sanity on the line, she must uncover the truth and expose those behind the lies, before she's sucked into their world of deceit and control. If, that is, she knows when to listen to her heart and when to listen to her head.

You can contact me if interested at shelby.morrison90@yahoo.com.

MaryAnn Clarke (maclarkescott) | 7 comments Hi Alyssa. I have a couple of contemporary novels for which i'd like some feedback. One is about a family mediator, and is a romantic women's fiction, the other is a romantic new adult with a bit of mystery and history (backstory) set in York. Let me know if you'd like to read them.

message 15: by Bart (new)

Bart Cline (lordrocco) | 4 comments I've got a YA sci-fi about 32 children from around the world who are abducted by aliens and taken to another world wracked by interplanetary war for unknown purposes, where they have to adjust to a new life, learn to live with each other, and get to grips with their alien setting. Think Lord of the Flies in space.

Want to take a crack at it?
