OK guys, I'm on Chapter four and it just got interesting. I didn't really know what to think about the first two chapters. The writing is not up to par with some of the better YA books, but I think it's going to get better as the story progresses.

I already finished it, and I really love the story line, character development, and romance. What do you guys think?

LOL I guess so! So far, I feel like I can't tell much about either Sofia or Derek. There are just so many things I have questions about, I'm hoping they get answered!

I have read 4 or five chapters and I'm slightly confused lol

Don't worry I was too! It does seem to be getting more clear as we go along.....maybe.... lol

Read more when I get back home. I didn't want to take my Kindle to the beach lol it's not quite sand or waterproof haha

I'm jealous your at the beach! And I'd do the same thing, I hate having my nook in my purse when it rains even though it has a cover I still feel like it's going to get damaged!

I feel like there are a lot of questions but what do you think about her being kidnapped? I don't really blame Derek.....he was kinda asleep...

at this point I don't blame him. but he needs to put a stop to it or he is just as guilty

It is still a little confusing but I liked it. I think I would have liked to know more about vampires and why he was sleeping, we didn't really get anything about that at all...

I wonder if it is more in book 2? explaining it? I mean honestly...as far as love stories goes...it was unexpected...I mean, honestly, it was almost like she was developing Stokholms...AND! that reminds me...seriously...LLI? Really? She has some random condition? really?

LOL she did talk about about her mom for like a quick second at the beginning going crazy.

I just feel like I can forgive Derek for her being kidnapped because he didn't ask for it and didn't do it the others did....such as Lucas who I hated through the whole thing but would love to hear it from his POV to see why he hates his brother so much.

I got book two..it is longer...so maybe book 2 will clear things up! I hope anyways!

Yea, I'm hoping the same thing, to clear a lot of stuff up but I thought it was good, I'd read 2 win a got a second! Vivienne kinda threw off some wary vibes too but she seemed to really love her twin. I'd like to have met the father too they talked about.

I can't get past the 6th chapter... not really invested in the character yet. I'll keep trying :)

I have read A shade of Vampire and really enjoyed it. Will have to check out the other books that are before this one and any new ones coming out
