Congrats on getting Daily Deal, how well did it sell?

First of all, I have never made my books free. I'm not saying that I never would (perhaps when I have five books, I might make the first one free) but not something I've tried. However, another UK author has done really well by making the first of his three books free. It's a good book, and on the back of his free one, he's been able to sell a reasonable number of the next two. It's a strategy that has worked for him.

And with regard to the Daily Deal - Only the Innocent got to number one on Amazon US! Absolutely amazing news, and I'm totally delighted.

It's sold really well, and I'm chuffed to bits because next week I am going to Seattle to meet with my American publishers - what a great time to go! Something to celebrate.

I hope you enjoy Seattle. That should be quite an adventure.

I've not been around much since Christmas, because I've been editing my new book, Sleep Tight, which is due out on the 24th February - just nine days to go!
