Heh! I'm being picky too! Like, "I can't read that yet! What if it pops up in a GRNW category???" :D

Know what you mean. That's why I finally decided to get around to reading the latest Mercy Thompson book that I've had but have been putting off. Means a reread of the rest of the series first. Hopefully that will keep me occupied all week.

First roll: 1
Book: Irregulars - COMPLETED
Hey, I get to hit three attending authors at once: Nicole Kimberling, Astrid Amara, and Ginn Hale. Now if we could just convince Josh to attend...

Heh! Yep! I'll add you to the participant list. (And you can just edit your comment to add books and play the game. :)

I'm Done.
I am going to take a break but I will be doing this challenge again at least once every two weeks. I love the fact that I got to read so many different new books that I just have to try this again.

First role, rolled a three. Space three: Choose a book from your to-read shelf that’s by an author attending GRNW. Read Spirit Sanguine. It was sooooo good! LOVED it!
Second roll, rolled a five. Space 8: You just got a free espresso shot from that hot barista! Move ahead to space 16. Space 16: Say WA! Read any book by a WA state author. Read Delsyn's Blues, also really fantastic.
Third roll, rolled a three. Space 19: Read any book by a GRNW author whose first or last name starts with “S.” Picture Me Perfect. Enjoyable. I love how Troy treats Nicky.
Fourth roll, rolled a six. Space 25: Read any book by a GRNW author whose first or last name starts with a “K”, “B”, or “M.” Forever in One Second. Liked it a lot. Desperately wish there were a sequel.
Fifth roll, rolled a five. Space 30: Clockwork Werebears! Read a book from Steampunk, Fantasy, or Shifters. Dance with the Devil. I was confused at first but ended up loving it.
Sixth roll, rolled a five. Space 35: Anthologies, Shorts, or Free Reads. On The Dock. Damn story made me cry.
Seventh roll, rolled a two. On the nose! Space 37: You’re done! (Feel free to play again for MORE GLORY!) Will do! I’m still trying to read at least one thing by each author before the conference. But then I love something and have to read more of that series/author, and then I have all my other stuff to read…it’s going to be tough.

Kelly I managed to finish in three days because I can't job hunt on the weekend where I live (smalltown and really bad bus schedules on the weekend) and I absolutely love reading and I can read faster then the average person according to some school testing I did. And Thanks.
P.S. I am also tend to stay awake for 24 hours and then sleep for 8 hours no matter how hard I try and get on a regular schedule.

Just the benefits of having nothing else to do. I'm self-employed/retired. Kids are grown(although the 22 years old still lives at home).
Plus, it was a friendly competion between mother and daughter to see who would finish first. I beat her by about 3 hours. :)
Now it will be interesting to see which of us completes it more times during the summer. :))
Congrats to Beth and teela for completing the Road to Seattle Reading Challenge! Along with Fame and Glory, you both will get a free drink at the Seattle Meet-Up! :D
Feel free to play as many times as you like over the summer. It's a super fun way to catch up on so many wonderful authors.

I'm trying to read at least one work by each author attending. There's so much good stuff to choose from, it's hard.
You sound like me!! I can stay up 24 hours easily, although I usually sleep 10 afterward. And I read fast. I just have to get a hold of the books first. :) I'm still impressed.

"
Hate to say it, but space 36 is not the last one."
Thanks Beth :) I'll read another and get it fixed!

You do not have to create a new post for each move. You can edit your original post with each move and by the end, it will list all your books.
The game starts on June 1, 2013. (And you can join in any time after that too.) You can create your participants thread prior to June 1, but the game (and reading) can't start until then.
The game formally ends on Friday, September 13, the day before the Meet-Up. :)
Important Note! When you finished the game, please leave a new post announcing that you're done. This alerts me and I'll update our list of those who have completed the game.
Prizes! Don't forget--the first five to complete the game will win a free drink at the Seattle Meet-Up on Sept. 14!
