A friend of mine gave me the advice a long time ago to simply start writing when a "block" happens. Just start typing anything and everything, regardless of sense or neatness. Just make something, anything.
Eventually you'll find a groove and be able to pull out a few of the random things you wrote and mesh them into a good piece.

I agree with you. Never let the block... block you. Writing is like exercising. Inspiration has to find the writer writing, not doing anything else ;)

There's no such thing as a writer's block. That was invented by procrastinators.
Is there really "the block"? When you stare at the page, at the screen, and nothing happens? Is that possible?
