I haven't read it yet, either, but the first is our Group Read next month, so I'll probably read that one soon after...

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Taylor wrote: "Is Shatter Me a good book? It's been on my to-read list for awhile..."

It's good, but the second one is better. so I suggest you should read it. :)

coconutsnbutts (♫ נєѕѕι¢α ♪) Taylor wrote: "So I've read Unwind and I thought it was a wonderful book, but I was wondering if its sequel UnWholly (Unwind, #2) by Neal Shusterman was any good?"

It was good one. I love how Neal Shusterman kept the original idea of Unwind while still continuing to build the story. Hopefully UnSouled will be satisfying.

message 14: by Kate (new)

Kate (kaitlins16) Taylor, the only one of those books I haven't read yet is Angelfall, but I've heard that it's amazing.

I actually just finished The Iron Knight (Iron Fey 4) not too long ago, and although it's not my favorite of the series, all four books are great. You would probably love Puck, Ash, Meghan, and Graymalkin. They're great characters. There's a lot good action in the books too.

I love Shiver. Sam and Grace are a sweet couple, and I was rooting for them throughout the entire first book as well as throughout the other two. They're one of my favorite YA couples.

Fire is an awesome book. If you loved Graceling, you will love this one. It takes place before it, and in a different place. It's so interesting. I'm actually going to reread it sometime this year.

Obsidian . . . a really great book. It has a unique twist on aliens, and has Daemon Black. He can be absolutely arrogant and infuriating at times, then really sweet at others.

I definitely recommend all of these books.

message 15: by Kate (new)

Kate (kaitlins16) It's a fantastic book. There is some romance, but it isn't the main focus of the book.

message 16: by Kate (new)

Kate (kaitlins16) It's not as good as the earlier ones I talked about, but I still enjoyed it. Or as memorable (for me, at least).

I think you would like it, Shrishti.

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Rossy wrote: "Is Warm Bodies Warm Bodies (Warm Bodies, #1) by Isaac Marion a good book? i kinda wanna read it but at the same time i dont feel like it :D"

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Shrishti~Music~Psyche wrote: "Is I am Number 4 a good book?"

In my opinion, it was okay. A slow read for me. A bit disappointing.

You can read it if you want.

♥♡¢σσкιє♥♡ (Krystle) (kookiekrysp88) | 71 comments Yep, and so are the next two books in the series. I just didn't like the love triangle.

coconutsnbutts (♫ נєѕѕι¢α ♪) Angelfall is a great book!

message 24: by Tati (new)

Tati I was enjoying Angelfall, until I got to the end. It completely grossed me out.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) I need some help finding NOOK books for cheap/free. Any sugestions?

Keep in mind I can only have books that will work on the Nook.

Essentially, two things: (view spoiler) I don't know yet if I'll read the second one.

Okay so I was looking at the recommendations from good reads and I saw this book called: The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han. But it seems kinda a snobby story... should I read it?

message 29: by Turtlefrog (new)

Turtlefrog Does anybody have any comments/thoughts on Eragon (Inheritance, #1) by Christopher Paolini . I haven't read it yet.

I thought it was a sweet book, but what do you mean by "snobby?"

Tati Turtlefrog wrote: "Does anybody have any comments/thoughts on Eragon (Inheritance, #1) by Christopher Paolini. I haven't read it yet."

It's a bit childish, the characters are not very developed, the writing is not that good and the end of the series (Inheritance) was disappointing

message 32: by Turtlefrog (new)

Turtlefrog Oh no. I'll just have to put this book at the bottom of my to read stack at home then.
Thanks for the info.

I haven't read Angelfall, the Iron Fey series or Fire but I have read Obsidian and that is one of the most amazing books that I have ever read. It's such a good book, you should definitely read it. For Shiver, I've read bits and excerpts and it didn't hold my interest as well as it should have. But that can just be a case of personal perference. That being said, good luck with reading!!
