What is Language? What are its components and uses? What are its limitations?

Lang. is both a tool and a spell all at once. Think Maypole! The inner voice that we carry on- except when uncons.or asleep is a constant affirmation of our existence. The stream of cons. is in its structure largely a vocal one. I sense myself in my inner dialogue/ voice ergo I am real.
