This is a thread for discussion of Book 3.5 of the Ugly Ducklings trilogy.

Is Book 3.5 a well-known way of saying "the extra one", or did you invent that? Inspired by Platform 9 3/4? (At King's Cross, *my* station!)

Not my invention, though I wish it were! I noticed that other authors use .5 to indicate novellas while whole numbers are novels. Technically this one is Ugly Ducklings 3.5/Wicked Widows .5, but I didn't want to REALLY confuse everyone. So maybe it is like Platform 9 3/4...

I can't wait to read Amelia's story. I was quite surprised when you chose to redeem her in How to Entice an Earl.

YAY! So excited for this to be released. I liked how there was a glimmer of redemption but I just couldn't buy it since she was so mean. I'm dying to read this & see how she grows!

It's a challenge to redeem someone like Amelia, and there's always a risk that readers won't buy it. But I had to try. If we couldn't change and grow from our younger selves, then what hope would there be for any of us? I know I'd be spending all my time fixing my hair! ;)

Manda, I thought the trailer was great. I was fortunate enough to receive the ARC of The Perks of Being a Beauty from Netgalley, and I loved it! You sure turned my attitude toward Amelia around, and I absolutely loved Quentin.
