May - Pick-It-For-Me! Challenge

I would need you to either make your shelves public or be willing to invite as a friend your assigned partner/s, so they can take a peek at your books. Would that be okay with you?

Glad to have you in the group Keyona ^_^ I love this challenge, you've picked the fun one for the start!

Sorry, will have to pull out of this challenge. Life just happened! See you in June's challenge hopefully.

I noticed you had some YA books, so I chose one that wasn't on your list that involves romance and paranormal elements. I loved it so I hope you do as well.

However, I noticed that you are a fan of Ward's BDB series, so maybe you will enjoy another series that has warriors in them.
I recommend Eternal Pleasure by Nina Bangs, the first of a series that involves a group of warriors called upon to save the world based upon an ancient Mayan prediction. I had fun reading this book, and I hope you will too.

For you I recommend Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder. It's about a girl named Yelena who is about to be excuted and has to choose between a quick death or slow poison. I really enjoyed it, I hope you do too.

I am also recommending the following books that you might enjoy based on your shelves.
Dark Obsession A Novel of Blackheath Moor by Allison Chase (ghosts)
Cast in Shadow by Michelle Sagara (urban fantasy)
Angels' Blood by Nalini Singh (archangels)

You like fairy tales and rated several fantasy books pretty high on your list, so I'm recommending [image error]
If you have already read that, I recommend any of these as backup: Bloodfever by Karen Marie Moning, Tiger Eye by Marjorie M. Liu, or Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana Franklin.

You've totally outread me! But it looks like you enjoy the same somewhat silly authors as I do, and I'm hoping you'll enjoy Minda Webber's The Remarkable Miss Frankenstein.

If she seems just too silly, you might read Tara Janzen's Crazy Hot which I see in you TBR pile. She's great! Especially for us MI gals who love our men even more when clothed in smokin' hot cars! :O)

[Book: A Version of the Truth] by Jennifer Kaufman
I thought of this book as it is a light read which I recently enjoyed. I hope you will too.

However, I noticed that you are a fan of Ward..."
Thank you Yz:: Mayan theme appeals to me::all that 2012 stuff:: read a non-fiction book about it years ago::makes you think::

Thank you for a pick. I think I will enjoy it.
Thing is... there's a very little chance I can get it in a month, so I really would like to ask for patience.

Here are Tricia's instructions for this challenge:
Explanation:
Ever do a secret santa or xmas exchange?
This is JUST like that, except instead of a gift you will be giving the person, it will be the choice of BOOK they must read for the month.
We will be doing this via sign ups, then the names will be randomly done and assigned.
Whatever name you get, you choose the book they must read, preferably the book chosen should not be in their TBR list. This is the whole point of the challenge! ;)
After the book is read they will post that they are done as well as how they liked the book chosen, with a short or long review.
Post in this thread if you are interested please! Also post with questions if you are unsure.
(clearly mark that you are playing in your post please also!)
Signing up period will remain open until April 29. I'll announce the pairing on April 30. Then you have up to the third of May to choose your recommendation.
