Fans of Interracial Romance discussion

I think it would be nice to have an A-Z game on here. I've participated in a alphabet game, on Shelfari a few months ago. This is a romance book game. You can use an alaphabet to give the name of a book, an author, character, or even something in the story such as: building, car, etc. You can even say a little something about the book, author, character, etc.

A - Alyssa. She's a character from Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooter series. She's a black woman, well really tri-racial, but she sees herself as a black woman. She's married to a white man.

B - Brenda Jackson.
I'm going with her because she's one of my favorite authors of African American fiction and she's even written a few interracials:
Delaney's Desert Sheik (I need to add that into my bookshelf)
Seduction, Westmoreland Style ( I think that one is IR).

Night Heat is IR too. Jackson wrote that one.

C - Clay from Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series. He is biracial, with coffee skin and bright green eyes. He is a sentinel, an enforcer for the powerful DarkRiver leopard shifters. He's fierce about holding onto the woman he loved, protected, and lost in childhood. Reunited... ;)

D - Dave. He's my sexy nerd from Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooter series.

F - For The Roses by Julie Garwood. I like how she created a family and how all parties looked upon themselves as being a family and no one could have told them differently.

G - Giselle Carmichael and Serissa Glass - both authors of interracial romance novels.
I'm not so good with character names or book titles, but maybe next time I'll come up with something.

Lonestarpt, you don't have to come up with character names or book titles, if you only know the authors name, then hey, share only those.

H- Hot Pursuit. Sam and Alyssa's new book, coming out in July.

Is this a good book? I thought it was a little too pricey for my tastes, but I might give it a try if it's good.

K- Kei Swanson, author of BWAM stories! I haven't read her yet.

K Karyn Langhorne, Kimberely Kaye Terry, and Sandra Kitt. I really like all these authors.
I posted K, too. Guess I was too slow.

M - Marilyn Lee, Marie Rochelle, MaryJanice Davidson, and Mary Balogh. Still stuck on the authors. I really like Mary Balogh's Simply Series and MaryJanice's Wyndam Werewolves. It's one of my favs.

M - Mates. The common paranormal term for spouse or partner.

M - Mercy. Next up in Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series.

O is pretty hard.
The only thing I could come up with is:

Odelia Grey, the heroine for a mystery series that I like. The first book is called "Too Big to Miss." It's isn't interracial, but it has a plus-size heroine, which is another untapped market.

The title, author, characters, etc. doesn't have to come from an interracial book.

Q - Quade Westmoreland from Brenda Jackson's "Quade's Babies."

Sam Starrett - My sexy, good bad boy. He's a character from Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooter series. He's married to Alyssa Locke.

U - Unsung Hero. Suzanne Brockmann's first Troubleshooter book.

W - Whiskey Road

It's the only book that I can recall with a W

Can't remember much of the plot to be honest except that the heroine rode a bike from California to NYC and on the way it got stolen. She ended up in some hick town. I think she was part of the paparazzi

LOL, Whiskey Road sounds interesting, actually, I think it's on my list.

That is pretty much the plot of the book and yes, she was a paparazza.
I didn't love it and it's not as interesting as it sounds.

I didn't think much of it either. I guess I buy practically all IR to show my support. But I think I'm gonna have to stop doing this

Y - The Ying/Yang Effect by Dana Littlejohn.

I saw this while browsing the bookshelf. I haven't ever heard of it nor read it, so no opinions on it from me.

Wow, you ladies skipped X :). I know it's a hard alphabet to find something to go with. I don't mind, if we skip X, unless we come across a book that starts with an X title, an author with first or last name that starts with an X or even a character with a name that starts with an X.

A - Ashton (Ash) - Sam and Alyssa's baby boy's name.

C- Cole Clayborne. My sexy good bad boy from Julie Garwood's Clayborne stories.

E - Eden Warner, the heroine of "Politics of Love by Giselle Carmichael.

Effin, the heroine of "Happy Effin Valentine" by Stepahnie Burke

Leslie Esdaile Banks, author of AA romance novels.

Please list only one author, character, etc. under an alphabet.

G-Gwyneth Bolton, author.
I have a couple of her books in my TBR pile.

I - Into The Fire by Suzanne Brockmann. This was a special book. Dave told Sophia he was in love with her and they started a hook up.

L - Lachlain MacRieve from A Hunger Like No Other. Yummy werewolves.

M - Martel. An ex-cop, turned lawyer in one of Suzanne's books.

J - Jane. The heroine is Linda Howard's book Midnight Rainbow.
