What did you think of the movie, Twilight?

I thought it was great. Only a truly great movie (such as Princess Bride) could entertain my mom multiple times of her own choice. (meaning my mom watched it multiple times because she wanted to, and she usually hates movies...)

I didn't think it was that great. I mean, Robert was a horrible choice for Edward, who is supposed to be "beautiful". Also, his make up was bad too, you could just see where the paleness ended. Bella was okay, Jacob, was blech, Alice was perfect, so was Rosalie and Emmett, Esme was good, Carlisle was awesome, and Jasper, I didn't like who played him, but his acting was great! Whoever played James was good , and Victoria and Laurent were good too.

I basically compared the movie to the book, and found the movie not so great. They took out some great scenes, and it was kind of boring. But I'd probably watch it again, for the fun of it.

The choice of the characters, um.....Alice was awsome, Jasper, I wonder how the person who acted him put his face so.....still and painful showing.
Bella and Edward, the actors, were okay.

Alice was perfect. Ugh, what is with these people who turn on loud machines at lunch time!?!!?

Yeah, that's exactly what I did Soumya! I too compared the movie to the book, that's probably why I didn't like it so much.

I tend to consider the book and the movie totally different stories.

i think they couldn't act right in da movie......

but Alice was totally great!!! so was Emmett.
Edward was ugh....so was Bella....Rosalie wasn't pretty enuf....Jasper was like ewwww....Carlise n Esme were good....Charlie was awsum....Jacob was ok i guess.
they didn't hav a proper meadow scene

Jasper-actor was super good! He looked all painful and stuff!

I like Alice when Lauren or whoever is introducing her "She's... really weird..."

I thought the movie was good! Characters were perfect...esp Charlie!!

The movie was OK. As a movie the production was well-done, but not all of the direction was inspired...some of the choices the director made for Bella's and Edward's characters weren't the greatest. Such as when Bella is in the hospital at the end...she didn't seem as upset as she should be if Edward would be leaving or sending her away. Some of the scenery shots were amazing though.

Yeas, I agree with the scenery comment. Like when Bella's in Edward's house. I loved that scene!!

I think most people agree that Alice was perfect.

in the "teams" poll, I added Team Edward and Team Seth.

For me the movie was nowhere near what i was esxpecting/hoping for. To me nearly all the characters were wrong, Bella was good as was Victoria, Emmett, James, Laurent. Both Alice and Jasper don't exactly look like what i was expecting but both played the parts really well. Charlie (as funny as he was) was almost right, i just expected him to be about 10 years older and 10kg hevier.

And Samiha i'm totally with you on the meadow scence it was just all wrong. And bella didn't look sick or dizzy once, not after the first time Edward gave her a piggy back and when running or not when he kissed her.

But in favor of the movie, the more i watch it the more i like it, it gets funnier each time.

Yeah, I agree with you, the more I watched the movie, I like it a little more each time. You know, when I watched it in India, I was watching it on my computer, and they cut the kiss scene! They just show them leaning it and then it skips till after the kiss!

n swati....u should be thankful u didn't hav 2 see the whole kiss scene (that's the part where we really cracked up n were laughing silly) bcz it takes a whole 10 seconds for edward to just lean in....i mean, we were waiting for it to happen n it just took such a long time!! i'll bet this sounds confusing but u hav 2 see it 2 understand it. does any1 knw wat i'm talking bout?

You should at least watch it. If you don't like it, you don't have to watch it anymore. My friend said that it was going to be stupid and she watches this. Now she loves it!

I only read the book. I hardly ever bother with the movie.

I only liked it because they had a cute guy playing Edward :D The Bella they cast looked the part, but didn't ACT the part. To me, the Bella in the book seems more...livelier. And Edward needs to act more like he is in total love with Bella. I didn't picture Charlie with a mustache and the guy that plays him doesn't seem that he can get as mad as the real Charlie is supposed to. I think Renee need to be a little more livelier, too, as said in the book. And Emmett needs to laugh more! I think Alice, Jasper (he may look weird but he plays a good in-the-background-army-driven Jasper), Rosalie, Esme, Carlisle, Jacob, and Mike Newton lolz! But the movie was just poorly made in general. They had horrible music, also. It seemed just too sulky. Let's hope New Moon's better!

Much bigger budget, new director and the actors more used to their roles it should be much better. Plus in this one Bella is supposed to be depressed which suits Kristen Stewart perfectly.

Oh! And have you noticed in the trailer that she goes from long-sleeved shirt with a yellow back pack to brown jacked with no back pack?! hhhmmmmmm...**ssuusPIICCiiouusss** I know! Maybe Bella's secretly a wizard, too!!! lolz!
