Now that we are on a new month, no one will probably see this, but I had to post. Gone with the Wind was one of the most frustrating books I've ever read! For the first time in my life, I actually kept flipping ahead to see what happens. Scartlett...oh what do I say about Scarlett...she was a character you wanted to hate but couldn't help rooting for her. She was very strong and did what she needed to do to survive. However, she never seemed to grow as a character. (view spoiler)[You wanted so badly for her and Rhett to find happiness. But by the time she finally realized Rhett loved her and she loved him in return, Rhett had had enough. At first, I was pissed off, but then I realized that I was sick of her crap so how could I blame Rhett for moving on. (hide spoiler)] I have many more thoughts on this book, but that was the one I just had to get off my chest!
