There are a few people planning to discuss it over my side reads group. including several from S&L.
So far there hasn't been much discussion though. lol.

I'm new to this group and agree with Ulmer Ian. I don't understand this character's motivation and actions the entire book. Otherwise, for the most part, an entertaining book I couldn't put down.
I'm about 150 pages in. It's fantastic of course. Not sure why I'm not reading it right now. :D
So my not-really-spoiler thought so far (assuming you read the previous two) is regarding the 'villain'.
(view spoiler)[I don't really understand her motives. She never explicitly is a denialist regarding Eros. So if she believes her father helped orchestrate the Eros mass-murder how can she hope to polish his image? She justifies murder for sure, but how delusional do you have to be to think her father is redeemable to the public? I mean while Holden was important to events that led to her father's disgrace... all he did was make his actions public and how people think about Holden won't change how people think about Eros one iota. (Though I read Caliban's War a year ago... am I missing something?) I guess I wish it set her character up better. Either clearly established her as completely delusional (sort of a lame cop-out) or give us some more insight into WTH is going through her mind. Since she is a POV character and I'm just like "ugh, why?" when her chapters come up. (hide spoiler)]
