Runs with scissors discussion

I'm fairly new to the group, but I thought it would be fun if we did a group read. You know we read a book and then comment about it, kind of like a regular book club.

Seems like most of us like fantasy/sci-fi. What do you think? If you want to, lets get some book suggestions and then we can vote as to which one we do first.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

This was also brought up to me in an email, and I think it is a marvelous idea. I'm all for it, so what do the rest of you think?

My pick Jim Butcher's "Storm Front" the first Harry Dresden novel.

I love the idea of a grop read. However, at the moment, I can't think of a book to suggest (finals in two weeks and heath concerns with the other half). I am open to just about any book, so I will cast my vote (*so to speak) when we get the selections set.

I think this is an excellent idea. I don't have a suggestion at this time but will think on it.
