A recent study in England run by the RAC http://www.racfoundation.org/media-ce... shows that speed cameras in some areas of England have reduced the number of fatal and serious car crashes by around 27%. However there are various groups who dislike speed cameras as they see them as a drain on government finances and rather an inconvenience. Safe Speed which is one such group says that speed was a factor in just 6% of road accidents.
So I was wondering what you think on this, are speed cameras worth it?
