Touch of Frost discussion

Before I started this book I was wondering if it was any good. Does it have any Romance or Supernatural? I have heard that people say that it is like The Vampire Academy. I have read the series. Is it like it? Thanks!

Love, love, love this series. It's more about myths and gods and goddesses. Definatly good romance going on in it. Have you rooting for certain couples. I have all the books so far and I can't wait until the fifth comes out (Midnight Frost) and I think the author plans to have about seven to eight books in the series....I think. Definatly know there's a sixth!

Oh ok. Cool I have the 1st on right now and The Delirium series and a couple of other books I didn't know what to begin to read first. I think I will read this one.

Awesome. I actually started liking myth genre.
Loved Logan and Gwen's relationship.
A bit like vampire academy but story is quiet different.

I read them I bought The short story in Logan's POV. I haven't read it though. Spartan Frost I think. i can't wait until Midnight Frost comes out. I love the series! :)

Yeah, at first I was a bit like, why am I reading this book? But after a bit of reading it it got pretty interesting. So when I was finished with it, it turned out to be 4 Stars, ****. I'm hoping to get the next book, I think it's called Kiss Of Frost.

This series is awesome! I was the same as Libby at first, but I got hooked up when I read further down. I'm waiting for the last (sixth) book KILLER FROST which will be released in Feb, I think.

This is worth reading, do check it out! I recommend to read First Frost before Touch of Frost.
First Frost is about the Gwen's , the heroine, life before she enrolled in Mythos Academy.

Opps, my bad. It is said that Killer Frost is set to be released in March 2014, which means that the on-sale date will be Feb. 25, 2014. ><

I absolutely love this series! If you like YA genre and mythology it's defiantly a good read! I have all the books, can't wait till Killer Frost comes out :)

In order: Touch of Frost,Kiss of Frost, Dark Frost, Crimson Frost, and Midnight Frost. Then Killer Frost comes out February 25th, 2014...Unfortunately lol. Too long of a wait!

YA + Mythology = Mythos Academy (Best combo ever)

Didn't read Vampire academy but I read the first and it kinda feels like Percy Jackson/Harry Potter to me somewhere in the middle.

I looooved this series. Totally changed my perspective on myths and legends.

I really enjoyed the series. Going into it I didn't know if I would like it or not. I even passed up reading the book several times but then I got the e-book. I cannot believe I waited that long to read it. The series gets even better as it goes on. There is romance to the series but that doesn't get picked up really until the next book. There's a lot of action and it is supernatural to an extent because they have mythological "powers". Some people are fast and strong and others know how to kill somebody with anything. And Gwen has touch magic as the book says. I don't think you'll regret reading. I sure didn't

You have to read the series. Its one of my favorites.

I've completed the Vampire Academy, and currently I am on book 4 of the Mythos Academy. Personally I prefer Mythos.

I think there are big differences between the two. For starters Rose(VA) grew up knowing her role and how to use her talents. Whereas Gwen (MA) has to navigate her way basically through trial and error.

Even the whole Logan & Gwen / Dimitri & Rose is different. In VA it was young girl and older guy dynamics going on. MA is based on the same age group.

Overall I'll rate Mythos higher than Vampire Academy.

It's definitely a good series! It's a lot of mythology and gods, but there's also some really interesting romance as well as AMAZING side characters. When I finished series, I felt like one of my friends just died. Also, Logan and Gwen are FANTASTIC, though they do a lot property destruction throughout the books and most of the time it's in a library (which I think we can all agree should not be acceptable).

I'm really hoping this series gets better. Extremely repetitive. She loves super heroes and comic books but when she finds out she's basically a super hero and gets to go to a school full of heroes and villains, she doesn't really care. Doesn't care to develop her own gifts and instead fixates on the envy of everyone's designer clothes. If you cut out the needless repetitiveness, you'd have a very short story. I really hope this gets better. Uggg

.....I just wanted to say that the series has gotten much better. It seems thee author has grown as a writer throughout this series. As hard as it was to get through the first 3 books, I have to say I'd recommend the series. Book 4 was excellent and book 5 was almost as good. I'll let you know how the finally goes:)
