This book was a quick read. I finished it in a day. It took me a while to get into her style. I was distracted by the speech patterns of her characters. I felt like she was trying too hard to make them "young", "southern", or whatever. Once I got over that (or I just started enjoying the story more - not sure which), the plot grabbed me. As much as I hate to admit, I'm going to have to get the rest of the series now.

Tonya Morris (torimili) When I first starting reading it I got a strong Twilight and/or 50 Shades of Grey vibe. By that I mean it's about a young, down to Earth girl that every guy wants, but she doesn't see it. She's in love with the oh so handsome, yet elusive man that all the girls fall all over, and of course he not only loves her but has an ingrained NEED to protect her. The thing is, I find myself liking these stories as much as I hate them :) For all it's cheesiness, I really enjoyed the story and am now on book 3. With less than 400 pages I found it to be a pretty easy read.
