Rant my friends, RANT AWAY!!!

Hated this movie so much! I can't believe that the people twisted the entire plot! I mean, little things like the different scenario at Medusa's lair, I can understand, but the whole plot? Really? The entire movie was about looking for those pearl things, when in the book, they were just given to them! The one part that seriously annoyed me, though, was the part in the underworld where Percy had three pearls and four people he needed to get to safety, and Grover stays. I thought the most powerful part of the book was the part where Percy decided to leave his mom behind to save him and his friends. I also didn't like how Annabeth and Percy seemed to flirt. I know these people need to incorporate romance somehow, but they were only supposed to be twelve. And Annabeth's hair, too. I know it's kind of stupid, but how hard is it to dye someone's hair? *takes a deep breath* OK. I'm done.

This was one of the worst movies ever!! Well if you didn't read the book turn it was probably pretty good. But if you read the book and them saw the movie you are probably pretty pissed!!!

The movie was like watching a kid's movie. Quote from my 2 year old's Little Einsteins show:
"We have to find the three magic peanuts to make Little Elephant grow big!"

It was just too kiddish. I wished they'd actually focus on the plot instead of making a 10 second part, "Oh, here's some pearls that'll help you," into the majority of the movie. And they didn't even introduce Kronos!

forget about pearl...whole movie felt wrong percy vs luke in end that was not part of the story...and the shield when did Luke gave any shield in book....??

AND The hydra didn't come in until the second book, plus WHERE WAS ARES?????

although Medusa was kind of grt (all black) ;)

Ares gave a backpack to Percy, the sheath! And Luke's "final battle" is just a little attack in the woods lasting 30 seconds in which Percy is creamed.

My favorite part of the book was the fight with Ares, and they cut it out!

That was the awesome part! It showed that Percy could stand his own and that he was getting his footing in the wacky world.

That Ares battle it was the most awsm part ... but i guess Ares was little too busy for a movie stunt so they had to work out with Luke..

That scene wasn't a good fight scene either. I mean, cool graphics, but... just no.

well i jst hope they connect all dots in Sea of Monsters... otherwise "GO HELL WITH THE MOVIES", I am waiting the OCTOBER....

Ok the thing that really bugged me was that they cut the oracle. And they didn't even go on a quest. They snuck out. Ugh, it gets me so mad. If you're gonna spend all this money to make a movie about a book, you should at least stay true to the plot. And the fact that they were in high school drove me crazy. One great part about the Percy Jackson series was that they were 12. I know 12 year olds who would love to be in a Percy Jackson movie. By the time they make a Mark of Athena movie (if they do) the actors are gonna be in their 30s. I can rant on and on about this.

If they're all going to be as bad as the first I hope they don't get to MArk of Athena ever. Hope they just stop...

I'm just Gonna imagine all the movies as a different dimminesion or something like that

I hope one day they do a remake of all these movies, and actually make them good!

It was terrible. I think everyone would agree with me that it doesn't take much effort to make a main character fu**ing blond!
