I have read this series previously and really enjoyed it. I found the first book hard to get into as you have to get used to the language they use (as they have their own language) but the 2nd and 3rd books are excellent.

Really, I loved the first book and that it was super awesome. I still loved the next two, but I think my favorite was the first! I still have to read The Kill Order though :(

I'm definitely excited to start this series as one of my friends is obsessed with it and has been trying to get me to read it.

Riya read the kill order. I thought it was the best out of them all. It was super interesting and had a lot of action in it. It was by far my favourite.

I finished Maze runner a few months ago and just started Scorch Trials! I am loving it, its keeping me on the edge of my seat and it is a gitnmore twisted than the first which I like :-)

oops, I meant *a bit more twisted! I like it much better than the first so far

I loved this series and Kill Order was incredible. A bit more gruesome but wow! If you enjoyed the others then highly recommend it. Have not yet read 2.5 Thomas's First Memory of the Flare tho... has anyone read it & what's your thoughts?

Nice- I love the Gone series as well, The Maze Runner definitely won't disappoint!

I don't know why I couldn't get into the Prequel. I read the trilogy in a matter of days. :(

I read the first and second a while back. Still need to read Death Cure and the Kill Order though.

The Death Cure was awesome!! I honestly just haven't been able to get my hands on the Kill Order- I really want to though!

I have read the four books and i really liked how relatable the characters were. easy to read and interesting series, wish it wouldn't have ended. I think the first book was my favorite though because it leaves you wondering what in the world is going on through most of the book along with the main character. :)

I started reading these books a while ago and gave up during the third one.
For some reason I just couldn't get in to it, and I didn't like how the characters came across, or how the storyline was played out.

All in all I felt disappointed by it.

I just finished reading the first book. Here is my review:

Although there was a lot of things happening throughout the novel, for most of the book I felt like there was not much action and it was quite boring, but my curiosity to what was happening in the book led me to continue reading. The characters were pretty well developed. My favorite being Teresa and chuck. (view spoiler)[ It was too bad that Chuck died; I almost cried. This shows me that the characters were pretty well developed because I was attached to them. (hide spoiler)]
I loved the ending and I believe that the next books will be better. I think that the mystery will be somewhat less prevalent and therefore I believe that I will enjoy the next book more. The last 60 pages of this book were my favorite.

I didn't really like the series. I don't know if it was just me, but I felt that the characters really weren't people you cared about. Again, this is my opinion, but I didn't really care about what happened to the characters. The story was just about interesting enough to keep me reading but it's no fun when you're not really gunning for anyone.

Have just added to my wish list and looking forward to reading. Hoping it's original, not too similar to The Running Man(Stephen King)?

Not like The Running Man at all, except that in both there is running. :)

This series is on my too read list, looks very exciting!

I finally bought The Death Cure! I'm so excited to read it, even though I already have three other books in progress right now.

I just finished The Death Cure. Honestly, I found the whole series to be kinda "meh". I kept reading solely to find out how it ends. I don't know if I'll read The Kill Order.

Overall, the plot was good and interesting. However, there was little character development and the author "tells" you everything instead of letting you figure it out.

I do, however, think that this series could translate to film very well! Lots of action!

I also thought the series was just ok and only read it to see what happened but i do suggest reading Kill order as it was by far better then the rest of them.

I read The Kill Order first. This helped explain some things prematurely, but overall I'm glad that I was able to have a general background in the Maze Runner "world" before started the true 1st book. I think The 1st and 2nd of the series were, by far, the best. The Death Cure was a real let down for me. I'll discuss that more in the individual book discussion. Overall characterization was lacking throughout the series, but I enjoyed the read.

OOO- I think I'm gonna try that Kelli!! I already read the whole series, but now that I'm going to reread it I'll try the Kill Order first :)

I read the 1st and 3rd. I started the Kill Order but just couldn't get into it, probably because I was disappointed it wasn't the original characters.

I am half way through the 3rd book and love it! :) I just wish the author went a little more in detail about the scenes.
