Terrific story that combines real events and people with fictional characters. McCann's prose is beautiful, gritty, and always accurate. A great novel.

Beautiful prose, especially in audio version whichi s read with an Irish lilt. The first tale is especially lyrical. Love it.
McCann is a great speaker. I saw him in Rochester, New York. Go see him if you can.
