As I am new, I have been reading through some older posts and noticed a few people talking about urban fantasy. If you haven't read any Charles de Lint, I highly recommend his work. My favourite author of all time, he has a lot of short stories which are good introductions as well as a LOT of full length works. He works with Celtic, American Indian and Gypsy mythologies in a modern world. The Little Country is a good intro, as it is not based in his fictional town of Newford - where a lot of the other books are based. Can't recommend him enough :) Happy reading!
