Hey, Julia. The cycle lasts to end of Aug. POTS sign up is once every 2 months, so if you'd like, you can sign up now, get some books picked next week and you can wait to read them til August :)

I'm in for another 3 books, I think. I wasn't to step it up but 'fraid I won't meet up expectation so I'll do 3 books this cycle and may do 4 next one, if I manage 3 this time.

Yes, I usually go on Holiday in August and then I have a yearly business trip on the last week of the month. Neither is 100% sure yet - we haven't decided where to go and I haven't received approval for the trip - but I can't make any commitments until I know. :)

Usually I can read on the business trip - I'm excited if it happens this year because I'll be going to Costa Rica - but not on my Holiday with the Hubby. ;)

I'm back!!!! Thanks for filling in Tien. Things should be evening out now, so I am back in action....at least I think I am, lol.

Glad to see things went smoothly while I was gone, and sorry for my lack of participation last cycle. My niece and her husband were in a head on collision and things were dicey for a while. They are on the mend and all back home with the kids now, so it is all good at this point.

Correct me if I'm wrong but we can start now correct?

I have a question about the Theme book. My partners picked a theme and then three other books. Some of the other books would also fit the description of theme book. Do I have to read the designated theme pick or can I read another which matches the definition of theme book?

@Bea, I don't think we even have to read a theme book. We just have to choose one for each other. But I think the reader has complete discretion among all the choices. A mod can correct me if I'm wrong.

@Bea: you can read other non-designated books which fits in the theme

Susan is also right in that there isn't a stipulation in the rules that you have to read a themed book.

The theme is just for fun and to mix things up a bit :)
