I personally love Emmett, I think he's hillarious, especially when he's making fun of Bella in Breaking Dawn.
The character in the movie I agree with both of you guys, he may not be particulary great looking but he looks like what I pictured in my head whilst reading the books.

But in the movie Emmett seemed too dark! The only funny thing he did was wave a butcher knife at Bella (no that I would disagree with that or anything lolz...) I hope in New Moon he comes out a little more instead of looking so...evil...through most of the movie. Like, in that scene where he says "Edward, she's not one of us!" Doesn't he look soo creepy!? But I still like Emmett in the book :D

I think we need to let the character of Emmett develop a bit in the movie...cause we're used to his funny behavior throughout the 4 books...
