Evan (sampsom) | 578 comments I had to do this for an ethics assignment and it was to say what the difference between a human being and a person is. A human being falls under the homo sapiens category when you sort biological creatures taxonomicaly. To be a human, I think apart from the Anatomical, Behavioral and Physiological similarities that make a human, you have to be a person, and to define a person I would say you have the ability to love, feel compassion, feel both physical and mental pain, and the ability to care about something, it that assignment I defined a person as someone who had passion. I think a human has to have a passion for something and that is to me what it means to be human. Passionate.
