Okay, I have an issue. I was gone for a bit so I was looking back at some comments.
Well I noticed that it seemed like some people were making fun of my religion and what I believe, but not just me either. I wasn't sure whether I should delete the comments or what I should do. Topic: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...
Comments 430, 431, 438
And maybe even 432, 433, 461
And then what Nathan said on 448, that what Jayda believe sounded like BS.
457, Jayda says she feels like she was attacked. And Nathan's at 459 sounds a bit mean, he basically tells her to just suck it up "Grow thicker skin." is what he said.

Comment 430 I don't think Nathan was making fun of your religion.
Comment 431 is a joke.
Comment 438...ooooh, moderator against moderator. This I'd like to see. Besides, last I checked Expelled was about intelligent design, not about your religion. And intelligent design has set itself up as the direct opposition of evolution, so I think her point is valid.
432, again, a joke.
433 is just Nathan telling people about a documentary he saw. If you have a problem with it, take it up with the documentarian. Don't censor Nathan for just mentioning it.
461 is an opinion. People often have diverse opinions on various communities, sometimes strongly, but it's not a personal insult to you, so don't make it one.
448, is an opinion. She can disprove it by simply backing up her statement.
459 sounds like good advice, really. If you're going to discuss something as personal as your religious beliefs on the internet, you have to expect to have them challenged.

Not everybody is happy there
Not everybody is happy there

Yeah, we kind of led an invasion fleet over there, cause someone posted the link to the Jesus group on the Atheist group boards.

Yes, true, and I agree.

oh dear, I see it has been a shame that I haven't been able to visit here for a few days, well>
I'm sorry to say Ninja, I'm not positive how you found it offensive, but I can see how some tone in some comments may have offended you. I'm sure we can all agree that no one was particular trying to offened you or your religion, though their opinions and thoughts may appear otherwise. But that is the thing about debate groups, you have to be prepared to get some pretty big blows at your thoughts, while you lesh some out. However, this does not mean that a person should in anyway attack you for your thoughts or believes. It is one thing to debate, and another to argue or degrade.

and yes: 'Mods are not allowed to delete comments they don't like. They can only delete comments that are obviously intended to be hurtful and have no point.'
it also appears that the debate slowly turned into critic for things they had seen, which is another form of debate over objects, so I hope you can see how they didn't mean to hurt your feelings ninja.
okay?
okay?
