I have to know I'm so addicted to want to know what happens next..!! I love this series, I cried like crazy reading <3

The author said that there wont be a fourth books because she thinks that Belly's story ended well.

I was going to say I doubted it. I was in Walmart the other day and saw a paperback copy of the entire series combined into one book. The thing was huge.

Jenny Han ended the book really well she added some mystery which made it pretty cool! If she wrote a 4th book it probably wouldn't be that good.

I think it might drag on if she did a 4th book

Jenny Han confirmed she doesn't intend to do a fourth novel in the series. If you go to her official website and FAQ, she answered it. Here it is...

"Will there be a fourth Summer book?

This is the number one question I get asked, and while I so appreciate and love that readers want more of Belly's story, I feel like we left her in a pretty great place in We'll Always Have Summer."

So, no fourth novel. If anything, I just wished she'd do a In-Between novel. Only, the story being about what happened between the last chapter of WAHS and the epilogue. I mean, come on!

We didn't even get a kiss between Conrad or Belly or see how the two got back together or his proposal or... anything! I don't mean to complain, but it just annoys me how we all looked forward to seeing Conrad/Belly reunite - at least us Conrad fans - and we didn't get ANY of it. Just a sudden and abrupt flash forward 4 years later with Conrad and Belly suddenly married. No details whatsoever in between all that. Especially when a page ago the two were officially parting ways - at least for a while - and him sadly biding her farewell. To me, that's just a 'wth?' kinda page turn. I would have liked to have seen how they got past that 'Well I haven't seen you in a couple years' meet and how she "just knew" he was meant to be with her and their reunion. It's those details that matter most in my personal opinion when it comes these sort of books. So, if Jenny Han WERE to do another book regarding Belly's life with the Fisher boys, I'd like it to be specifically about all the moments we missed between Conrad and Belly. The big ones.

To me, yeah, a sequel following WAHS would just be majorly milking the story line. We already know how it ends, so why push it?

Yeah I don't see any point in continuing the series but I wouldn't mind if she wrote a book for Jeremiah, I mean he deserves love too! Maybe he ends up with his date at their wedding?

I agree with Olga. I think Jenny Han should publish a book 3.5 (but since it's technically within the time frame of book 3...is that what you'd call it?) or a even a novella detailing Conrad and Belly's relationship after WAHS and the epilogue. That would be wonderful, and I don't think publishing that would be "milking the story line" too much. I don't think a book 4 is necessary, though (or the Summer series could end up like the dragged out TMI series...*cringes*)

WHAAA there has to be a fourth!? She ended the story without telling us the story!! Know what I mean?

We still have yet to learn how Conrad and Belly got to be married, how Belly and Jeremiah's and Conrad and Jeremiah's relationship turned out.

If this is it the ending then it sucks. Poor writer choice if you ask me. I'm definitely not satisfied not knowing the answers to those questions.

I'm not saying the ending wasn't good but the problem is we didn't travel down the road to the ending. We missed so much story!
