Which stories in This Close are your favorites, and why?

I think for me, my favorite was Next in Line. It reached in and touched some heart-wrenching issues. I can't imagine losing a child and hope I never have to experience it. But no matter how bizarrely the grief was dealt with, it was dealt with. All the stories were rather tragic in their own way and this is the only one in the bunch that left me with a feeling of hope, and I like that.
