Jon, this group has read all 5 of the previous books. So we are now going to read the 6th.
If you want, you can read the beginning of the series and catch up with us. This series is beloved so there are people who would be willing to discuss with you.

Can't do an ebook, I need a paper copy to drool over (and add to my library).

:-D
So sorry to have worried you! :-D But now that it's all pre-ordered... *sigh of relief*
I totally pre-ordered at the first opportunity.
AND I'm buying a copy of the Innkeeper Chronicles when it gets to final pub. *so excited*

Yes, I think a number of us did. :) Which is why we decided to break our normal nominations and go straight to an enthusiastic group read. I'm excited!

Me, too! Me, too! Me, too! Me, too!

Love Ilona Andrews!

Love Ilona Andrews!"
Shes been talking about it on her blog. They have a audio in the works but the pub is trying to delay the release a bit. She said shes heard about that from fans.
Last I heard - IIRC - she was pushing back at the pub to do the release at the same time.

Even if they release it a few weeks later I could do it! I waited over two months for Steel's Edge to be released though...

I still haven't read Magic Tests (from An Apple for the Creature), and I also have a couple of the Curran stories left, so I'm going to read them while I wait :)

Nice! I'm jealous :P

Oooh, fun. I saw they were doing a short tour. I'm too far away, though (Wisconsin!)

Oh, god, I'm so shy. I'd just make an idiot of myself in person.

Lol! I totally gushed & giggled, but they were very gracious :)
Here are some pictures I took:

Don't judge me."
Definitively no judging :)
Are you scared its not going to live up to expectations, or is it awe over a new book?
I have a tendency to save books I really, really want to read, just so I know they are there, unread. Waiting for me...

"...waiting of me, unread..."
Mostly because I want to read it sooooo bad. Work has been kicking my booty and I don't want the book gone before the work load decreases. I squee inside every time I look at it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book :)

Tired would fit, because they are working on several contracted works as well as personal projects...and daily life with teens. That's what really makes me admire them: they don't compromise on the quality of the story.

Ha! I totally get this. I remember feeling exactly like then when
A Civil Campaign by Lois McMaster Bujold came out. It was like having the precioussss. I don't think I cracked the book open except to reverently caress the pages until like a week after getting it.

lol I've never done that before, letting a book I've been so eager to read just sit there.

YES!! This is exactly how I feel ! I'll only have the chance to read it the first time once. Then it'll e over. O_O
And I don't want my first time sullied by work.
