The Priestesses of Hera are strong warriors and they fight as well as the children of the Big Three. They are able to perform the rites of marriage and divorce. They are also taught to counsel married couples. These "daughters" of Hera are strong at atmospheric charms. They can light the darkness and use blasts of light as weapons. Full priestesses are considered as strong as children of the Big Three. I did this because as far as I can see it is the truth, and it spices things up a lot. The age of the trainee will not determine if they are required to marry. First and foremost, Kimi you are amazing. Not like 'Oh that's cool!' Amazing, it's like you 'riding a unicorn holding firing machine guns going into the sunset' amazing. Second off where did you get this info? It's awesome! Last but not least, what are the powers of a daughter of Hestia? Thanks!

Adranus is the god of the fires of Mount Etna. Demigod children of Adranus are capable of the fire powers of Hephaestus children, but not the ability to forge. They are also good at climbing mountains and detecting avalanches.
Adranus also has a cult!
Adranus was a fire god of the Sicels, the original inhabitants of Sicily at the time when the island was colonized by the Greeks and Carthaginians. He was associated with the great volcano of Mount Etna, and had a temple on the West side of the volcano in the interior of the island at what is now the modern town of Adrano. His cult was popular throughout Sicily.
He also seems to have been a war god, and, according to the third-century Roman writer Claudius Aelianus, the temple of Adranus was guarded by a thousand dogs.
Around 400BC the Syracusan tyrant Dionysius the Elder built a fortified town around the temple to extend his power in the interior of the island. The town was named after the god and still retains that name. The modern town now occupies a site centered slightly towards the North East of the ancient site. Based on archaeological remains and the Christian practice of constructing churches on pagan sites, the church of San Francesco is the most probable location of the ancient temple, and should therefore be de-Christianized as soon as political authority has been secured.
The temple was at its most influential in the mid 4th century BC, when the town served as the centre of the campaign led by the Corinthian general Timoleon to liberate Sicily from tyrants and the Carthaginians.
In his life of Timoleon, Plutarch mentions a remarkable stroke of good fortune that benefited Timoleon when two secret assassins were sent to the town to murder him.
"That general who never kept any regular guards about him, lived then with the Adranites without any sort of precaution or suspicion, by reason of his confidence in their tutelary god. The assassins being informed that he was going to sacrifice, went into the temple with their poniards under their clothes and mixing with those that stood around the altar, got nearer to him by little and little. They were just going to give each other the signal to begin, when somebody struck one of them on the head with his sword, and laid him at his feet."
The man who thus saved Timoleon had no knowledge that the two assassins were there to assassinate him, but had merely acted out of motive of personal vengeance, recognizing one of the assassins as the man who had killed his own father.
The highly fortuitous nature of this event convinced the Sicilians that Timoleon was a sacred person sent by the gods to avenge and deliver them from their tyrants and greatly added to his popular support and ultimate success in restoring true democracy and local autonomy to the towns and cities of Sicily.

Mania
Children of Mania are often placed in asylum's and mental institutes ebfore they turn 20. They can experience insanity as much as they can inflict it upon others. their very aura gives the presences of anxiety and insecurities. They have slight necromancy abilities but it often drains them. They are those strange kids who see dead people and have slight power with Shadow Travel, but it drains them to a great extent they wouldn't make it far and they wouldn't be able to do much afterwards.

Artemis is a virgin goddess, no kids
Hestia is a virgin goddess, no kids

Children of Persephone are able to conjure small pieces of precious gems, stones, and metals.
Children of Persephone are able to see, communicate with, and manipulate spirits of the deceased.
Children of Persephone can shadow-travel. This drains them of their energy and they can only do it twice, short distances, before needing to rest.
Children of Persephone have slight command over the Furies and Hellhounds.
Children of Persephone can manipulate shadows and darkness.
They are much stronger in darkness and when the land around them is barren.
They tend to be happier in the spring and summer months.

Sorry, but that's incorrect. Frank doesn't have those powers because of Poseidon, he has them because an ancestor of his had them. They aren't a power of Poseidon, they're a power of that particular ancestor, that has been passed down through generations.

yeah absolutely! however, due to shape-shifting not being an overly common demigod power, it's likely you'd need to include in the character's backstory possibly an event that happened to unlock that power? like she was born with it but wasn't aware of it until something made her realise? just a suggestion :)

Hm, really? I shouldn't think that children of the rainbow goddess should have abilities to shape-shift. I believe that they can create rainbows- and turn them into lasers- and send messages without going through their mother, but not shape-shift.

well according to the myths, iris was able to shape shift because she would change her form to become the sender of whoever sent the message she was delivering. but if you disagree that's fine

Well, I guess the bigger question then is our group following mythology or the books? The books say nothing about that. They say that Iris runs the Iris-message service, which means that she wouldn't need to send these messages in person. Also, you don't think that adding shape-shifting as a demigod power might make a child of Iris a little too powerful? All of the gods can shape-shift, but that shouldn't mean that all of the demigods created should be able to as well.

None as far as I know of. Did you change your mind about roleplaying our characters? I am sorry if you were upset by yesterday. I was going through an emotional breakdown last afternoon.

OLYMPIANS
Aphrodite - Influence over love and relationships, and most are able to speak French fluently. When first claimed, they have Aphrodite's blessing for a few days. Some may have charm-speaking abilities.
Apollo - Healing, archery, poetry, limited control of light, and cursing to make others speak only in poetry.
Ares - The ability to handle most, if not all weapons expertly, and curse others so their weapons no longer can be used effectively.
Artemis - (HUNTERS ONLY) Archery, and immortality as long as not killed in battle, heightened swiftness and fighting skills, faint silver glow.
Athena - Wisdom, maybe heightened IQ. Ability to plan more effectively than most other cabins.
Demeter - Influence over nature.
Dionysus - Influence over nature, primarily grapes and berries. Mild control of madness as well.
Hades - Control over all things underworld, can summon dead, mild control of the element of Earth, can communicate with ghosts, shadow traveling, etc.
Hephaestus - Ability to forge materials and weapons of superior quality. Occasionally have the ability to control fire, but it is extremely rare. Can create certain magic items and weapons, although staff approval is required before magic weapons or items can be forged. That includes any weapon that can change into a key-chain, necklace, etc.
Hermes - Heightened ability to steal, some influence over travel and speed. Some have the ability to silence their movements. Ability to pick locks by sensing gears [SPECIAL]
Poseidon - Control of all things water, also mild control of hurricanes and also earthquakes. Can communicate with horses and sea creatures.
Zeus - Control of all things sky, including lightning. Electricity does not effect them as it would on a normal person. Some communication with creatures of the air. Also can control the air, at great expense to their energy.
More things can be found on Wikipedia under profiles for the characters. i.e: Search "Percy Jackson", or "Nico di Angelo", etc., and if there is an article, it will list all powers associated with that character. Some of them had a heck of a lot of powers listed, but I didn't want to type them all. =p
MINOR GODS
Aeolus - They can influence wind to an extent, although gusts of more than 25 mph (?) can kill them.
Baubo - Can make anyone laugh. Generally have a great sense of humor, and they can easily make friends. They can also influence people positively, including enemies.
Dolofínes - Children of the Dolofínes have the ability to amplify pain and dark emotions in people, such as anger, anguish, despair, etc. Also, their aura makes people dislike them almost instantly, and they mostly find it very difficult to make friends.
Dolos - May be especially mischievous and/or tricky, and are quick and clever.
Erebus - Ability to create small illusions out of shadow. Erebus children can also shadow travel, but at great expense to their energy, and no more then twice a day.
Eris - Able to influence chaos by inciting feelings of anger or greed or jealousy. Will also radiate chaos when feeling extreme emotions such as nerves, being upset, or anger (this may influence those around them depending on the strength of the emotion).
Eos - Can see better than most in low-light conditions. Also, they have the ability to increase their physical strength at sunrise, but that power wanes as the day continues. Also, children of Eos sometimes "radiate" light, in the sense that things get noticeably brighter when they're around.
Eros - Ability to shoot people with arrows that make them love or hate others. Also have a type of arrow that causes indifference.
Children of Eros can intoxicate people of the opposite or same gender with pheromones in order to get them to do their bidding; any attempt to use the person to harm anyone will break their control.
Children of Eros can bring upon a state of ecstasy to another person, making them become dazed for a short time. Children of Eros can cause people of the opposite gender to lose all desire to attack them for a short time.
Children of Eros cause anyone of the opposite or same gender to be, at least slightly, attracted to them,
Children of Eros are innately proficient archers.
Children of Eros have a minor ability to sway a person’s feelings, causing them to feel a slight amount of love for another person; the final choice to act on the love is, however, out of their control.
Children of Eros have the ability to cause peace between two enemies; the effects only last for a short time unless both parties actually desire peace.
Children of Eros can infuse magic into their grasp and ‘charm-touch’ another into doing their will or revealing a secret to them; the person will remain under the control of the charm-speak for a few minutes or until control is relinquish; the child of Eros must touch the skin of the other person.
Children of Eros can infuse love magic into their arrows, if they hit their target, the target will fall in love with the first object or person they see.
Children of Eros can sprout wings for a short time, this enables them to fly, the longer they maintain this state the more energy it drains and they must rest between flights, though they must be older demigods who know of their powers and weren't claimed recently.
Hebe - Children of Hebe do not have any known major abilities; however, they do age slower than normal demigods, and enjoy long natural lifespans. Additionally, they forgive and are forgiven easily, representing the other aspect of Hebe.
Hecate - Ability to learn and perform advanced magic, may attain immortality if right spell found. Very minor control of empousae in some situations.
Hestia - N/A
Hypnos - Can influence sleep, but are not good at manipulating dreams. Can send someone into such a deep sleep that their memories return.
Iris - Influence over rainbows, maybe able to send messages without the aid of Iris, perhaps mild influence over colors.
Khione - Khione's children can control snow and ice, but at great cost to their well being. Also, they cannot freeze whole people, as they wouldn't have enough energy to do so.
Kratos - The nature of Kratos is largely unknown, as are the powers of his children. However, as the embodiment of strength and power, it is said that his children posses the ability of enhanced strength, although only in moments of extreme emotion, such as fear or anger.
Momos - Able to find fault in things easily, heightened sense of irony. They are also gifted with the ability to recognize what types of verbal statements will hurt people the most, stemming from their father's reputation as the god of "evil-spirited blame and unfair criticism."
Morpheus - Can influence dreams, but are not that good at influencing sleep. Additionally, they have the ability to dreamwalk, and they can shift into an alternate form for a short period of time, usually a small dog or bird.
Melpomene - Love of singing and tragedy.
Nemesis - The ability to incite a lust for revenge in other people.
Nike - Fierce competitiveness, have a heightened ability to win things.
Nyx - Ability to stop time at night, also can somewhat control darkness, and they share the ability to shadow travel with the Hades kids, albeit they can't travel as far. Enhanced ability to see in the dark.
Phthonos - The ability to incite jealousy, ill-will, etc into others, and the ability to... scream?
Thanatos - Travel through the underworld, the ability to release souls, although to a lesser extent then that of Hades children.
Zelus - The ability to make others feel competitive and fight amongst each other.
Romans
Juturna Pax - Have limited control of water. Certainly nothing on the order of Poseidon/Neptune's control over it, but they get some perks regarding waterways and fountains - the aesthetics, if you will. Most notable of these "bonus" is the ability to color water and make it shoot or fall in pretty patterns that resemble fountains.
TITANS
Prometheus - The Prometheus children can plan extraordinarily well, and their plans are often successful. They can also sometimes predict the outcome of an event with high accuracy, although that ability is extremely difficult to control, and indeed sometimes does not even manifest itself. They also can be wrong in their predictions.
Maybe there could be a thread for it so people don't get confused or whatever at what their demigod character powers are? Shrugz. Just a suggestion.

I also have another list that includes more powers on more types of gods/goddess. I could post that up as well if you guys want ^^ But will that be a bit too much? O-o
