Yeah it kind of is. I love anything Jane Austen. I love Pride and Prejudice and Emma. I also love To Kill a Mockingbird although idk if it is an actual classic.

Anna (zanetaftanei) | 148 comments I love love love love Pride and Prejudice and Wuthering Heights. Have you guys read A Tale of Two Cities? I really wanna read that!

I haven't read it but I want to. I started reading it but it was overly descriptive so I got a headache. I will definitely read it though just so I can understand what the heck Tessa and Will are talking about in TID.

Anna (zanetaftanei) | 148 comments That's excactly why I wanna read that! From the moment they started talking about this book I was like "I am reading that too!" :P

Haha same. I started reading it for a school project but it was 500+pages on my iPad and was way too descriptive. I decided to slack off on the "Read a Classic and write a book report" so I switched to a shorter Jane Austen novel. I will go back and read A Tale of Two Cities though!

Abby | 69 comments To Kill a Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice, Lord of the Flies, and A Separate Peace are all surprisingly good for classics.

message 15: by Madeline (new)

Madeline (madelinepaigehowlett) Jane Eyre is my very favorite, but pride and prejudice is a close second...

message 16: by Abby (new)

Abby | 69 comments For some reason I couldn't get through Jane Eyre. My mom told me to read it because it's her favorite book but I couldn't get more than 100 pages in.

message 17: by Madeline (new)

Madeline (madelinepaigehowlett) The fist half is kinda boring, put if you push through it and get to the part with Mr.Rochester it gets WAY better. It makes me cry.... every time.

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Sammmmeee and I haven't even read the legit book,
Just the illustrated classic.
And I saw the movie.

message 19: by Abby (new)

Like not as much as modern books, but still.

Abby | 69 comments I have not read TMI yet, but it's next on my list of books to read. My sister is obsessed with TMI, and now she has made me want to read it.
