YA / MG Read-A-Holics Not-So-Anonymous discussion

Hey, guys! I didn't want to bother everyone with a broadcast, so I'm just making a topic.

I've noticed that we haven't had much traffic in the Polls section of the group. I get that we're a (really) small group, but these polls are essential to deciding group reads and getting information from the group. I understand that if a group read isn't in a genre you like to read, you're not going to vote on that poll or read the chosen book. On that note, you aren't going to nominate books for a genre that you're not into either. I get it. But please, when we're nominating or voting for group read books, please stop by the nominations and polls section to participate. If no one votes, then Ms. Jackie and I make decisions like what the group reads should be, or whether or not we should send a monthly newsletter. I don't mind doing it, but the group would be much more fun for you guys if you had some say in the decisions. So, the next time we're nominating books, see if you can step outside your box a bit. Maybe you've read a great book in a genre you aren't normally into and want to share it with us. Then nominate it! For now, though, just stop by the polls section and click, click, click! ;-)
