Cheryl Olson (girlsmama) | 694 comments All right all, here is the list of the books to choose from for the additional group read for August. I had a few people request titles for this go round, so thank you very much. Again for the additional group read I try and post some of the newer titles - although still about a month out or so to give the books time to hit the libraries. And I try and choose books from different genres because I think it's good for us as readers to try different things. There is always at least one title that has been a kindle freebie at some point. I try and denote those with an (*). Ok I am done with my review ....Here are your titles....

1. The Promise Box (Seven Brides for Seven Bachelors #2) by Tricia Goyer The Promise Box by Tricia Goyer.

2. The Linen God by Jim O'Shea The Linen God by Jim O'Shea

3. Shenandoah Nights by Lisa Belcastro Shenandoah Nights by Lisa Belcastro

4. (*) Daughter of Joy (Brides of Culdee Creek #1) by Kathleen Morgan Daughter of Joy by Kathleen Morgan

5. Once Upon a Prince by Rachel Hauck Once Upon a Prince by Rachel Hauck

6. Undeniably Yours (A Porter Family Novel, #1) by Becky Wade Undeniably Yours by Becky Wade

7. Fearless A novel by Mike Dellosso Fearless: A novel by Mike Dellosso

8. Love at Any Cost (The Heart of San Francisco, #1) by Julie Lessman Love at Any Cost by Julie Lessman

9. Unwritten by Charles Martin Unwritten by Charles Martin.

Beth (bbulow) | 2403 comments Cool, Loraine! Once again, you'll be the first to crack the spine of a brand new library book :)

message 8: by Rachel (new)

Rachel I am the 3rd hold on this one, so not sure when I'll get to read it.

message 9: by Shannah (new)

Shannah Mauney (sdmauney14) | 18 comments I thought I picked this one up when it was free, but I guess not. Oh well, I just purchased it!!!

message 10: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl Olson (girlsmama) | 694 comments Yay- glad you did Shannah! I'm curious to hear what you think!

message 11: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Belcastro | 6 comments Just ordered it. Can't wait!

message 12: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) I'm not going to have the chance to join in with this one, but I am intrigued to see what everyone thinks! I've seen some pretty mixed reviews of this book. I never caught on to the royal wedding/baby fever (I was living in St Andrews when Kate & Will married, so it was more annoying than exciting) so the influx of royal books in the last few years has just been amusing ;)

message 13: by Beth (new)

Beth (bbulow) | 2403 comments I've seen mixed reviews too, Rachel. I actually voted for a different book, but do happen to have this on Kindle :)

message 14: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl Olson (girlsmama) | 694 comments I am very curious to see what folks think as I was one of those that thought I would absolutely love this book and it was just Ok for me. I loved The Wedding Dress also by Rachel Hauck, but something just didn't click for me with this one...and I adore common girl gets the royal guy story lines. I am truly excited to hear what everyone else thinks though as who knows if I was just having an off reading time? I know plenty of folks who loved it!

message 15: by Janet (new)

Janet | 2 comments This book, the Wedding Dress, was not my favorite either.

message 16: by Sara (new)

Sara | 75 comments I really enjoyed the book. I just looked at it as a modern day fairy tale and didn't get too caught up in the details. It was just an enjoyable read for me.

Beth (bbulow) | 2403 comments Looking forward to reading and discussing! :)
