Exactly. It was a cliffhanger..
Painful story yet giving hope..
Where are you in the story now?
What do you think about Emma's decision to hide her pain?

I think Emma should have confided in someone...and despite everything Sarah should have told her parents....
I have already read twice but was reading with u... I can talk about anything on this book... :D
Yes. It could have acted as a reverse threat for Carol. It may not have directly effected the life of children of Carol and George, for whom she kept quiet. If she would have confided to someone, atleast Carol would have had fear of being exposed and that would have helped her keep her hands off Emma.
I also think, she could have confided to someone.

Haha, yes. Their relation was actually beautiful. There wasn't any room of formalities of proposing and official dating and stuff. It was just it :)
I just loved their conversations.. And I liked the way the basic human nature is shown of both. I mean they are not shown like they have never felt for others etc etc. It was realistic.

Yeah... And how she would not like him knowing her but would crave his company :p

Exactly exactly.. I wanted to shake her too -_-
I mean she could have confided in him.
hahaha, the internal struggle of Emma is very relatable to many people :P

I meant it generally. It happens with anyone and everyone :)
Synopsis -

In the affluent town of Weslyn, Connecticut, where most people worry about what to be seen in and who to be seen with, Emma Thomas would rather not be seen at all. She’s more concerned with feigning perfection while pulling down her sleeves to conceal the bruises - not wanting anyone to know how far from perfect her life truly is. Without expecting it, she finds love. It challenges her to recognize her own worth - but at the risk of revealing the terrible secret she’s desperate to hide.
