Philip Dodd (philipdodd) | 5 comments Hello, everyone. I would like someone to review my book, Angel War, which was published on Tuesday, 23rd, April, 2013 by Fast Print Publishing. It is an odd book to classify, for though it could be called a work of fantasy fiction, involving as it does angels, dragons, and the war between good and evil, it is rooted in the Bible. It was inspired by Chapter Twelve of the Book of Revelation, which speaks of the war in heaven, fought between Michael and his angels and the dragon and his angels. The Bible only says that the war happened, but not why, so I decided to write my own version of the war and its aftermath. I am willing to send a paperback copy of my book to someone who would truly like to review it, who enjoys reading fantasy fiction, and who would find it interesting that my tale is rooted in the Bible. Excerpts from my book can be read on Amazon through their 'Look Inside' facility. I am pleased to be a Goodreads Author with my own page for my book here on Goodreads.

Teresa Marotta (teri_brown) | 5 comments Does anyone review ebooks?

message 16: by David (new)

David (dswellhauser) This group is pretty much a bust...lots of writers looking for reviews, but few readers have stepped up.

message 17: by Teresa (new)

Teresa Marotta (teri_brown) | 5 comments If I see something in the genre of James Patterson, David Baldacci, etc., I might do just that. I'm 71 and I've read so much in my life that most books are pretty much the same with just different names and places, but predictable. I do like different twists like the Women's Murder Club series James Patterson has. Right now I'm enjoying The Hit by David Baldacci about two hit people who have to eliminate one another. Different. I like different. :o) So I'd want to see a good description of a book and if it interests me, I'd love to read it.

Julie Shelton | 1 comments Hey, everybody. My first novel, Loving Sarah, a Siren M/f/M menage, BDSM Collection, with a Heat Rating of Sextreme, has been out since November 28, 2012. It is about to be joined by its sequel, Owning Sarah, due for release on September 25. I would love for anyone interested in erotic romance to read and review both books. I will be happy to provide a pdf.

Eight years ago Jesse Colter fled his small town, leaving behind eighteen-year-old Sarah Marshall, broken-hearted and devastated. Now a retired Navy SEAL, he’s back and he wants only one thing—Sarah Marshall—preferably bound, naked, and on her knees before him.
She has never forgotten Jesse. He’s been the object of all her sexual fantasies since she was fifteen, as well as the star of nightly dreams that have become increasingly erotic over the years. So when he suddenly reappears in her life, she is torn. Can she trust him not to hurt her, or will he once again break her heart? Warily, she agrees to let him introduce her to his world—the world of bondage, Domination, and erotic slavery. When he also introduces her to his best friend, Adam Sinclair, Sarah faces a daunting future of sexual submission to two powerful alpha males.
But Sarah faces an even bigger challenge. Someone is stalking her. Is it the old enemy who’s just been released from prison? Or is it someone else from her past who is determined to destroy any chance she has at happiness? Can Adam’s and Jesse’s love protect her? Or will her world explode in a cataclysm of betrayal and violence that will destroy them all?

I sincerely hope that my books are more than the same story with different names. Have you been reading indie authors? You might find some stories with a different twist and voice.

message 20: by Teresa (new)

Teresa Marotta (teri_brown) | 5 comments I'm an indie author myself and yes I have read a few. I don't read erotic or heated romances though. The only problem I have is that I don't have a Kindle or ebook reader and I do most of my reading when I go to bed at night so have to read hard copies. And I know how expensive it can be to give those away for reviews unless it's for Foreword or others of the same ilk. I tried that myself for awhile.

Stacey Hunt (staceytianna) | 2 comments Hello everyone! My name is Stacey T. Hunt and I'm looking for reviews for my book The Prophecy. It's recently received a lot of praise, and was even third place in Amazon's best sellers list in February this year.

Reviewers are saying:

"THE PROPHECY has a lot going on with some truly unique characters. The story had a little something for everyone: Action, Adventure, Magic, Romance, crossed with Fantasy and Science Fiction elements."

"The characters were so interesting and easy to relate to, what happened to them in the end tugged at my heartstrings."

"I was instantly drawn to its beautifully dark and mysterious cover. It is a wonderful read that the word "thrilling" does not give justice to. This is more like blood-pumping, heart-racing, grab hold of your hat enjoy the ride stuff that you would be nuts not to buy. Do yourself a favor and buy it now."

Synopsis:

"The Prophecy" is the thrilling prequel to the bestselling series Cascade Adventures, and takes place eight years before Kale, Elison, and Tyson rise to protect the planet from a wave of insidious threats.

In this exciting adventure, a deadly group of terrorists known as The Predatorials rise under the command of their leader, Zorgoth, who has a deadly goal and an enigmatic apprentice by the name of Zorren whom he is enrolling in King Casimir's School, of which students who attend have a chance to become the next ruler of Planet Cascade. The world hangs in the balance as a torn Cascada must choose who to save -- her best friend, Meldon, from falling into the darkness and joining the shadowy divison of the Predatorials, or Zorren, after he won her heart. He's the mysterious new guy with a dark power and devious ties to Zorgoth.

Walter Danley (walterdanley) | 8 comments On Aug 9th – 11th, my newest novel, THE TIPPING POINT will be a FREE DOWNLOAD at Amazon. If you get the book and I would appreciate if you would post an honest review at Amazon and Goodreads, I know that you’ll be entertained for 352 pages of an exciting, and unique story of Greed, Fraud, Murder, and Deception. Go to http://amzn.to/12WqbJX to see what others say about THE TIPPING POINT!
Here is what two reviewers said: “If you took Barbarians at the Gate and The Firm and blended them together with the best stories of Michael Chrichton and John Sandford, then you’d get The Tipping Point by Walter Danley. From the slopes of Aspen to Caribbean beaches, Danley’s writing is on point in any climate. This is a can’t miss thriller!” – Mark Fadden, award-winning author of The Brink.
"The Tipping Point offers an insider's look into the rarified business of public real estate investment with a story that unfolds like a Mary Higgins Clark plot, but sexy and harder edged. Danley has an eye for a good tale and believe me, he really knows how to tell it! The Tipping Point is one of those rare debut novels that make one uncomfortably impatient to read his next one." – George Thomas Cox

I appreciate your help and support. Thank you for your time and consideration. http://amzn.to/12WqbJX

The story is the first in the Guardians of hope series with the second one to be released at the end of the year.
http://www.amazon.com/Rescued-from-th...

Here's one of the reviews
This book will have you so mad, so scared and so emotionally wrung out you will want to pull your hair out. Rescued from the Dark is one of the best romantic suspense books I have ever read. If this is the author's first book, I can't imagine how the next books will be. This was amazing! It's my favorite book so far in 2013. I can't wait to read more about the team introduced here. The author's website says they are coming soon.
Lynda Kaye Frazier is a very talented writer. She definitely knows how to write romantic suspense. I was drawn into this book immediately, and it still hasn't released me.

message 47: by Ginger (new)

Ginger Gelsheimer (gelsheimerkeats) | 14 comments Hi guys

If you are looking for reviews you might want to check out the Book Review Depot - www.facebook.com/bookreviewdepot. Authors can read and review 3 books from the Active List of 30 and then have their own book go into queue to go on the list. We capped the list at 30 to maintain good exposure for the authors while their books are on the list. After a book receives 10 reviews, it comes down from the list. If people are already reading it, they still can get credit toward their 3.
Guidelines for ratings: We highly encourage honest reviews because blowing smoke doesn't help any of us. 4 and 5 star reviews should be posted to Amazon (and Goodreads and B&N if you choose); 3-star reviews should go directly to the author first with good and bad and they can decide if they want you to post it. Most have elected to so far and also feel the 3's are extremely helpful. If the review is less than a 3, then a constructive review should be sent directly to the author with some helpful notes as to why you were not able to give it a 3 or better. In just over 3 weeks, we have generated 96 reviews: (86) 4 and 5 stars; (4) 3 stars and (6) constructive reviews. Check us out!

P.S. Thanks Abby for the recommendation!
