Yeh there's quite a few big name authors appearing. I won't be able to get there but for literature buffs it sounds a good event.

Just heard that Jo Nesbo will be on the digital radio BBC 6 Music Radcliffe and Maconie show on Friday afternoon sometime between 1pm and 4pm. As they are based in Manchester fits in with his Lit.Festival stuff.

And just started by David Peace. Really good so far.

Just listened to the above interview. What a great bloke. Unassuming, great sense of humour and so self deprecating. Sort of person you'd like to have a pint with. Discovered among many other things why the 1st HH is set in Australia and that he used to be a professional footballer till injury cut his career short, and also that he had a no 1 album in Norway with his band. No end to his talents. His story about the origins of his kid's stories had me laughing out loud. Wish I could have attended the Q & A with him....hope Olivia tells us all about it.

EXCLUSIVE from Deadline Hollywood: Warner Bros. is near a deal for Blood On Snow, the first of a two novel series by The Snowman author Jo Nesbo. It will be developed as a potential star vehicle for Leonardo DiCaprio to be produced by him and Appian Way partner Jennifer Davisson Killoran and Langley Park’s Kevin McCormick. Latter is producing an adaptation of Nesbo’s The Son at Warner Bros.
