Kathy Golden | 22 comments I'd like to ask authors please to provide the genre of your books when asking for a review. It would seriously save time and help those of us who are trying to find books we'd like to review. Links are great, but then we have to click on the link to find out if the book is a genre we like to read. Thanks for the consideration!

'Imminent Danger.' Political Thriller.– Synopsis
Posted on August 2nd 2013
Street people in Hollywood become random targets of a serial killer using a biological weapon that leaves no signature. Dr. Jack Wolf professor of biology and director of the stem cell research at UCLA is present at an autopsy of one of the victims. Immediately he contacts Tom Stewart, head of Cerberus, a top-secret black-ops agency, of which he too is a member. Stewart assigns agents Joe Falk and Susan Koski to meet with himself and Dr. Wolf.
Dr. Martin Pease, a scientist with Pegmanti Pharmaceuticals in California has designed a means of transmitting biological monoclonal antibodies over a distance of a quarter of a mile. He names his invention a Biologlaserinjector, or simply, BLI. In the wrong hands, a BLI becomes a deadly weapon.

For the first time in the history of the Easter Sunrise service in the Hollywood Bowl, religious leader’s world wide including high-ranking Muslims plan to attend. Jamul, an American pop singer of international fame, adored by millions between the age of fifteen and thirty-five is the mastermind; instrumental in bringing the religions of the world together Easter Sunday morning. Jamul, born in Spanish Harlem, is a born again Islamic, a man with the voice of an angel and the soul of a devil.
Seduced by a glorious dream of a grand show of Islamic Jihad power, Jamul intends to use several BLI’s to eradicate the assembled religious leaders and other notables at the bowl. He knows that leadership comes with a high price tag to those who fail.
From the Hollywood Hills to LA to the floating assets of millionaire yachts in Marina Del Rey, Koski and Falk, along with Marco, a young Latino gang-banger who finds himself forced to work for an Islamic cell in LA offers to go underground and feed information to Cerberus – for a price.
Nell Fynn, a young freelance writer with an agenda.
Greg Grant an agent from the Office of Homeland Security who should never have left home.
Pharmaceuticals, crooked cops, and sinister scientists are some of the characters who cross Koski and Falk’s path during their rigorous and relentless search to stop the next brutal terrorist attack on American soil.
The book is due for a late summer release (2013) by Savant Books and Publications.
Sincerely,
A.G. Hayes.

Shadow's Edge (The Kyn Kronicles, #1) by Jami Gray

Everyone fears what hunts in the shadows—especially the monsters…

It takes a monster to hunt one, and for Raine McCord, forged in the maelstrom of magic and science, she’s the one for the job. In a world where the supernatural live in a shadowy existence with the mundane, a series of disappearances and deaths threatens the secrecy of her kind and indicates someone knows the monsters are alive and kicking. Partnering up with the sexy and tantalizing Gavin Durand proves to be a challenge as dangerous as the prey she hunts.

When the trail points back to the foundation which warped Raine’s magic as a child, her torturous past raises its ugly head. Gavin and Raine sift through a maze of lies, murder and betrayal to discover not only each other, but the emerging threat to them and the entire magical community.

All she had to do was keep one man safe…

Raine McCord has no problem taking down the monsters of the world, it’s one of the reasons she’s so good at her job. So playing bodyguard to Cheveyo, head Magi of the Northwest, as he consults with the Southwest Kyn should be an easy assignment. Unfortunately, the simple task turns into a nightmare when Cheveyo is kidnapped and Raine is left for dead by one of the Kyn’s most feared beings, a Soul Stealer.

The Stealer’s attack leaves lasting wounds, undermining Raine’s confidence as a warrior and damaging her unruly magic. Her ability to heal her mind and spirit hinges on the one man who can touch her soul, Gavin Durand. Compelled to face the emotions raging between them, they must embrace not only their stormy relationship but their evolving magic to escape the twisted threads of murder and betrayal to find Cheveyo.

As Raine and Gavin come together and begin to unravel the complex web of secrets and hidden vendettas haunting the Southwest Kyn, they discover unsettling new truths that threaten their very existence.

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 8 comments Hi,

My series is adult dark fantasy/fantasy romance with erotica elements.

Book 1 The Light Beyond the Storm Chronicles follows an elven sorceress who escapes from the house of her wicked master to flee into a world where magic is illegal. Hunted by the Order of Witch-Hunters, slavers, and her masters men she must survive and find who she was meant to be.

Despite many terrible experiences Dii is kind and, with the mysterious man who finds her, seeks to rescue an elven child stolen from a village by slavers. Even at the risk of reputation and even life.

Book 2 The Shining Citadel Is the follow on, although it can be read as a stand alone.
Some time later a desperate young woman appears in the tranquil Tremellic Valley seeking help to find a lost heirloom, yet not all is as it seems for lies and deception abound. A magic long ago thought lost resurfaces, an ambitious man and a truth which is unwelcome appear in this adventure full of mischief, magic and mayhem.

Definitely 18+ rating - scenes of graphic sex, violence and adult themes.

N. Wood | 1 comments Looking for reviews for my short M/M romance story.

When it comes to the summer holidays, fireman Lance McCarthy can think of only one place he wants to spend his time away from work. Compared to the miserable city of Glasgow, a week on the third largest of the sunny Balearic Islands sounds like paradise.
However, when he chose Ibiza as his destination, he didn't expect to bump into Malachy Walsh; an Irish man dressed in blue striped pyjamas.
La Cala is an erotic short story that may well bring a smile to your face and a tear to your eye.

Wade Garret | 20 comments Genesis Book One of The Kingdom Come Series by Wade Garret

Genesis: Book One of The Kingdom Come Series, is an ambitious, speculative fiction story in the epic tradition of Dune, The Dark Tower and A Song of Ice and Fire.

Blending elements of gritty Steampunk and realistic sword-wielding Dark Fantasy, this stand alone epic's cross-over appeal ranges from Y.A/N.A, to the mature, hardcore, Science Fiction and Fantasy book lover.

Readers seeking a strangely familiar world of intrigue, intense action and mortal failings vs. the injustice of power and spiritual corruption will be drawn to this book. And once caught in its exciting pages, they'll quickly learn what really separates man from what is Evolved.
