I was reading an article in yesterdays paper (my last home delivery as I know it) about N.Y. hotels are using books REAL books mind, to keep younger people in the lobbies and bars longer. The books create a cozy environment that encourages one to stay in the building and in doing so,has increased sales. Some are creating library rooms and some national motel chains are now allowing guests to check out a book in one locale and return it at another locale when they stay there in at a future time.
To me this is vindication over e-readers and Kindles proving that the written word is not as dead as they would like us to believe.
