Ok I can't be the only one out there who ABSOLUTELY LOVES SIMON. And even if you don't love Simon feel free to post your thoughts on him, just please don hate immensely....

I didn't like Simon at all until he turned now I love him!

His character got so much better once he turned!!!

Try and catch Robert Sheehan in Love/Hate. He looks totally different, but equally (or even more) scrummy.

Simon is the best. Everything thats been said about him is dead on right. Tho instead of Izzy I'd rather ship him and Alec.

Yeah Robert Sheehan is a great Simon. As Simon's biggest fan ever, I have very high standards of who I want to play him but Robert Sheehan is good.

OMG Simon. Definitely my favorite character. in the book. I love how he's always there for clary and always so loyal and caring. I loved him before and after he turned and him and Usabella are just so cute together. <3

Simon is one of my favorite characters. He has the best lines. Better than Jace has. Robert Sheehan portrayed him perfectly. He exceeded my expectations and believe me they are high when it comes to Simon.

I hate Simon's character in the book, he is such a panzy. Plus he was happy to get half of her attention? There had to be so many signs she thought of him as a brother figure and he still held hope that she somehow secretly loved him? He sounds like an idiot!!! Im sorry but im all for best friends becoming lovers but this just doesn't sound anywhere near secret love. Simon has this fantasy about Clary and thinks he knows her when he doesn't. He is in love with her "boring non-shadow hunter" life. Which we found out isn't the real her. She deep down knew there was more to her than the mundane life. Simon didn't love her because he didn't really know her.
But i did love the man in the movie, his acting was gorgeous and i did like his character in the movie too. His character didn't annoy me as much in the movie. He seemed more bad ass :)

@christie I think that he did know her until she found out she was a shadowhunter but even then he was the one who knew the most about her likes dislikes and he knew basically everything about her after he found out who she really was

But honestly I think he was searching for nothing in clary

I'm so glad for all these Simon fans! Everyone is a Jace fan but Simon is totally perfect. I agree with everyone here.
I made my mom read City Of Bones and she loves Simon too wayyyy more than Jace, she thinks he's a 'train wreck waiting to happen'

I know! He was this little adorable side character who we never thought anything bad would happen and the shadowhunters didn't pay much attention to and then BAM! that thing happened and I was just :O

I like Simon, but I wouldn't say he's my favourite.

I used to dislike Simon through out CoB and CoA but I started to like him during City of Glass. Now I don't love him to the maximum but I don't hate him at all I just feel like he is a significant, good , and entertaining character.
