Jenny (jeoblivion) | 4893 comments Welcome to The Monday Poem! Each week a a different group member has the opportunity to post one of their favorite poems. If you would like to share a weekly poem just go to the sign-up sheet that we'll post each month. In addition I will post a schedule of weeks already taken so that we can keep track.

If it is your turn, just open a new topic and post your poem there and, if you like, feel free to add a personal story related to the poem or any other comment or additional information that you might have with it (this is obviously optional). Discussion of the poem and your personal interpretation is highly encouraged!
Please check The Monday Poetry Catalogue in order to avoid the same poem being posted twice. Happy posting!

Edit: Since sometimes the Sign-Up Sheets fill very quickly, as a rule of thumb every member who wants to participate gets to post once every third month, to allow others to have a go as well. However you can let me know if you are interested in posting sooner, there might be quieter times or somebody drops out in which case the rule of thumb doesn't apply.

Edit 2: Please take a look at https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... regarding copyright before posting.

For useful links and the Master Schedule for the Monday Poem for the current year see below.
