Any Feedback on the Book?

I'm over half way through the book and find its almost a cross between Pretty Woman and 50 Shades. I'm not sure why any woman would put up with his demands but it is nice having endless piles of money to spend. Still she doesn't seem the type to continue to take his BS. Thoughts? Does the relationship get better?

It doesn't, it actually gets worse from what I remember. I didn't end up liking the book at all. I also didn't bother with the second one either. Some other readers on a thread told me to try the second one as it will change my mind about Anthony. Haven't read it yet though.

this series is actually pretty good,im looking forward to the next book which comes out in October
Although Im not sure if you could compare it to pretty women or 50 shades
This is much darker, which makes a change as a lot of the new reads are just recycled stories

Didn't like this book at all. Not sure what the hype was about. I couldn't finish it and definitely would not waste my time on the sequels. Having said that, tons of people loved it, so it comes down to taste. I thought 50 shades was badly written with idiotic characters (juvenile), but again, tons of people liked it too!

This book sucks. I really disliked. Couldn't connect with ANY of the characters. It was dull and boring as well.

I still have questions and I should probably read book 2 again it was just weird. Book 3 is out October 8

the book is very dull and boring and goes on at a snail's pace . half the monologue and situations were unnecessary and did not contribute to the story .
the book probably would have been better with half the number of pages . though many people seem to have been gone on a 'wild ride ' while reading the book . I on the other hand just don't get it .

This book is brilliant but keep in mind it is a DARK Book not ur typical happy ever after or all roses you need to have a open mind and REMEBER it is a FICTIONAL story not REAL Life you need to believe in forgiveness for people who really regret their sins. If U hate beautiful disaster by Jamie McGuire or captive in the dark by c.j Roberts and cannot understand the concept or find it acceptable then I do not recommend this book .

I am so having trouble with getting into the last book in this series!

Don't judge a book by the cover. Read the whole first book if you still don't like it in the end then don't bother spending money on other two books in the series if u don't like the first u won't like the rest. I am only guessing Sylvia but have you ever read dark reads before this series? I could be wrong but am just saying from experience I had read some dark reads before I read this book it was the same with fifty shades of grey when I read that series I never liked it I was furious with Anastasia and I never understood bdsm concept. I was confused in the end and off the whole bdsm concept then I seen a documentary on 4od it was abt fifty shades of grey and real couple tried to explain bdsm and that its not like the boom. Thats when my curiosity increased I read some books but confessions of a submissive by Sophie Morgan that book explained alot that's when I truly understood the concept. So the moral of my example is you can't just understand or get into this genre before reading other books before
