There are 5 book requirements for the Sophomore Level.
1. Molecular/Genetic/Cellular Biology-This is where it all starts. Read a nonfiction book relating to this theme.
2. Physical/Earth Science-Read a fiction or nonfiction book dealing with any physical science theme such as physics, astronomy, geology, hydrology, etc. This can include science fiction or biography.
3. Organic Chemistry-Read a fiction or nonfiction book relating to carbon. You can get creative with this with some thought. It can involve global warming, agricultural themes, fossil carbon dating, diet, fossil fuels, etc.
4. History/Politics/Geography-Read a fiction or nonfiction book from one of these genres. This can include historical fiction, biography, as well as classics.
5. Language-Read a fiction or nonfiction book in a language other than your native language, one that has been translated from a language other than your native language, or read a book that is about language.
