I typically read three or four books at the same time.

message 2: by [deleted user] (new)

I read 1-2. :)

message 3: by Erica (new)

Erica (ericaevernight) It depends if that book lost my interest, and I found something better, so 3-4 books.

message 4: by Aden (new)

Aden (adenk) | 29 comments At most, I would read 4 but usually 2-3 books at a time.

message 5: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (hannahroboto) | 92 comments I try to just read one at a time these days, in the past I would try to read multiple books at once but would end up liking one more and putting the other one aside for a long time and it just ends up sitting on my shelf for months.

message 6: by Annabeth (new)

Annabeth Rose | 10 comments 2,3 or 4

message 7: by Carie (new)

Carie (cnclandell) | 124 comments I'm usually reading 3-4 books at a time. I like to read physical books, read Kindle books, and listen to audio-books, so I often have at least one book going in each medium ;)

message 8: by Erica (new)

Erica (ericaevernight) long time no see carie

Nat (talieami) | 122 comments Usually 1, and sometimes a non-fiction on the side. But lately, I've been reading like 3 or 4!

We missed you too Carie!!

message 13: by sim (new)

sim (nightloxk) | 156 comments I read one book because I can only concentrate on one book at a time.

message 14: by Brooke (new)

Brooke (brookeluvsbooks) I wish I could read more than one book at a time but I just wouldn't be able to keep the stories straight.

message 15: by Izzy (new)

Izzy (izzybookholics) | 580 comments I only read one at a time.

Julia Griffis - The Romance Bibliophile (theromancebibliophile) I prefer to only read one book at a time. That way I can really focus on the story line and characters.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

It depends on how much the book I'm reading captures my interest. If its boring, or I'm tired of it, I'll jump onto another one. Right now I'm in the middle of like 7

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

usually one for pleasure and one for school

message 19: by Bailey (new)

Bailey I try to stick to one at a time, but at the most I've ended up reading 3 at once.

message 20: by Brandy (new)

Brandy Nacole (brandynacole) I really only like reading one book at a time (get more wrapped up in it that way), but I've read up to 3 at a time before. One I have really been waiting for, a review book, and proofreading my own book.

message 21: by Zoe (new)

Zoe (zoesnicholson) I'll admit to having a really bad attention span...

...so I usually only only read one book at a time.

message 22: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 203 comments hahaha I love that!!! I know exactly what you mean. If I read too many at once I can get the worlds and characters confused, so I like to stick to one, but sometimes I have to read another one for school at the same time.

message 23: by Abigail (new)

Abigail Cornejo | 3 comments 1-2

message 24: by Kaitlin (new)

Kaitlin (kaitydawn) | 18 comments I try to only read one at a time. I have to read one for school, too though.

message 25: by Bryony (new)

Bryony (bookslife17) 2-3 otherwise I can't stop starting new ones and I get confused :(

message 26: by Ren (new)

Ren (renma) I once tried reading three books simultaneously because I couldn't choose what to read first but I regretted it after. :D So I just stick to reading two books at the same time :)

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Me, I read way too many books at the same time than I should. But see, I have a short attention span, so I'm not gonna want to sit down and read a book that's incredibly boring and dull. (I'm the type of person to give up a book two chapters in) So I usually jump from book to book to book. Or maybe if I'm not in the mood for what I'm reading, I'll jump on another book. Sometimes its months before I finish one book :D

Right now I'm reading:
Clockwork Angel
The Hunt
Harry Potter
Darkness Before Dawn
The Angel Experiment
Daughter of Smoke and Bone
Falling Under
Darkness Becomes Her
Starcrossed
Sweet Venom
Blackout
And The Long Way Home.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

Ooops, I already posted on this topic :/ Mah bad

message 29: by Caru (new)

Caru Usually 2 or 3

message 30: by Chaise Carter (new)

Chaise Carter | 89 comments I only read one book at a time, but I typically read a book every like day and half. If I were to read more than one book at a time I think I would spaz out. Since I go through so many books, I already have trouble keeping the characters straight as it is haha.

#notmyrealname#iluvjesus | 78 comments Right now IM reading 15 books at once so it takes a long time for me to finish them

Shadowhunter's Library (shadowhunters-library) | 132 comments Typically, I'll read 2 books at the same time; one at school the other at home (which takes me longer to read/finish than the one I read at school).

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

2-3. I usually read one book in bed and one in the day time.

One book at a time.

message 35: by Josephine (new)

Josephine | 85 comments One at a time also. Sometimes if I haven't read in a while it turns to two!

†Reviews of a FearStreetZombie† (fearstreetzombie) I have to read one at a time.
if I try to read more than that, I get them confused.

I'm reading three books at once right now.

message 38: by H.S. (new)

H.S. Stone (hsstone) | 6 comments I usually read two books at a time, one paper book and one on my Kindle app.

message 39: by Megan (new)

Megan (megantron119) I used to be able to read at least two depending on my mood, but anymore I can barely keep up with one. So definitely one.

message 40: by Sabrina (new)

Sabrina (forebodinq) Generally I read one book at a time, but sometimes I'll read two or three. For example - I'll read a scary book during the day, and a fluffy one at night :P

message 41: by Alma (new)

Alma (alma64037) I usually read one book at the time. I'm trying to read two at the moment and it isn't working for me.

message 42: by Tommy (new)

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 354 comments If we're talking novels, I'll never read two novels for the first time at the same time. I'll reread a book along a new read on occasion, but never two new ones.

If we get into comics/scripts along with novels, then I'm typically keeping up with 10+ stories at a time.

message 43: by Nikita (new)

Nikita I read one book at a time.

message 44: by Snow (new)

Snow (Booklover12358) | 34 comments at the moment, like ten, maybe more...I get halfway through a book then find something better, so read everything at once.

message 45: by Naban (new)

Naban (snoupysoup) I usually read three books at the same time.

message 46: by Anke (new)

Anke Zweel (ankies) | 26 comments I only read one book at a time.... although I sometimes feel like reading 2 but sticking with one and just concentrating on one is the best

message 47: by CourtLovesBooks (new)

CourtLovesBooks I can read up to three at a time but very slowly. Eventually get more involved with one book and put the rest down for a bit until I've finished that book

message 48: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (reads4fun730) | 718 comments I usually only read one unless its terrible then I'll read two. I like to focus on one world and one set of characters at a time.
