I was initially not drawn in by this book. I was intrigued by the premise, but wondered how far it could go. Then all of a sudden, I was completely hooked and could hardly put it down. I was bothered by what seemed like a continuity problem related to Joe's disappearance. When Rose first tells about it, he is gone and they never see him again. Then at the end when she is telling about it again, she says he did come back for two weeks and was in the hospital. Did I miss something?

I read this so long ago, I will go back & read my review & check in tomorrow!
