The Obituary Writer
question
The quote for your obit

Vivien includes beautiful, insightful quotes/poems in the obituaries she writes which caused me to wonder what would I want used in my obituary as a quote and better yet what would an obituary writer use after hearing me described by my family/friends.
What quote/poem do you think would be in yours or what would you want used?

So, when your eulogy is being read,
with your life’s actions to rehash…
would you be proud of the things they say
about how you spent YOUR dash?

I used this as my senior quote in my high school yearbook but it would be appropriate for an obituary. It is from one of Zelda Fitzgerald's letters to Scott.
"...and in a hundred years I think I shall like having young people speculate whether my eyes were brown or blue."
