As far as the movies go, well, I thought they did a reasonable job on Books 1-3, but 4-6 seemed to get progressively worse. There were additional (unneeded) characters, and movie 5 focused so much on Dolores Umbridge that it actually lost the story line. Rupert Grint was uniformly excellent throughout the series though, and the standout actor of the three.
I enjoyed movies 7a and b though, despite the frantic first part that attempted to put in all the necessary back story that the previous three movies ignored. The only bit that was really irritating was the (view spoiler)

Loved this series!!!!! Have read it SEVEN times! :) Fav. book either 5 or 3, fav. movie 4 or 1, fav. character Hermione Granger of course!, least fav. character Malfoy (the father, least fav book either 6 or 7, least fav movie 6. :)

I really liked this series because it was so original and welldone!! No one is as imaginative as Rowling. I loved and devoured this series :D

Love Dumbledore, love Grawp, love Fawkes!!!
My friend wondered this once; why didn't anyone just tackle Voldemort? like seriously, all-seeing and evil he may be, but a physical attack on him? he will never see coming...they could have resolved things way quicker...
Ron and Hermione...gah...Ron's a dunce, Hermione is a bit of an emotional lock...no wonder it took all the way to the last book for them to get together...
Harry and Ginny...I repeat; gah...Harry may have glasses, but he's blind, and Ginny was right to move on when she had...but moving back? Just because Harry liked her? *mental face-palm*
I love that these people are together, don't get me wrong! But I like to think about things in-depth...
I always thought Dumbledore and McGonagall would get together...
poor Snape...he loved a girl who ended up loving the man he hated, all because he said something stupid, and said man decided to straighten up his act...
I hate Umbridge. I would have thrown her on her fanny a long time ago. It's not as if the Ministry of Magic would care about physical assault...they're all about magical acts of mischief and mayhem, they are...

"What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?".
In Victorian Flower Language, Asphodel is a type of lily meaning "my regrets follow you to the grave" and wormwood means absense and also typically symbolized bitter sorrow. If you combined that it mean "I bitterly regret Lily's Death".
Just something I found online and my mind is blown and J.K Rowling is my Queen.
