James Joyce Reading Group discussion

would anyone be interested in a reading group? where we read a story or a chapter or a passage and discuss it?

reading entire novels (with joyce) can be a nightmare. it took me two years to get through finnegans wake the first time i read it.

but having a group where we could just read episodes or stories or poems or an essay from the critical writing and discuss them could be cool.

if you have any suggestions please post them!

And some of later essays in critical writing? I'm picking it up at the library next week.

well, how about if someone suggests a story from dubliners - for starters. we won't put too much pressure to keep up with an intense reading schedule - i'm sure we're all busy. but if we had a week to read one of those stories, that seem reasonable....
